Fraumünster Church is an absolute treasure in Zurich! Visited today, and I was blown away by the Marc Chagall stained glass windows—they’re vibrant, ethereal, and worth the visit alone. The church’s history, dating back to the 9th century, adds such depth, and the Gothic architecture is striking, especially that iconic green spire. The location by the Limmat River is picturesque, and the interior feels peaceful yet awe-inspiring. A small entry fee applies, but it’s a must-see for art and history lovers. Truly a highlight of my Zurich trip!

A nice cathederal that is worth a pop-in if you are nearby. It has beautiful stained glass windows and is peaceful. There is a crypt area that displays artifacts. You require a ticket to enter. It was cheap to purchase. You get an audio guide or a leaflet that comes in a variety of languages. Children and students fetch free entry. There was a small gift shop which sold some nice bits. All areas are wheelchair accessible apart from the crypt and choir area. There is a disability toilet near the main entrance. There is a hearing loop system, and guide dogs are welcome. It is free to enter for services. You are asked to refrain from taking photographs during service.

A very nice cathedral! The clock tower is very unique, it changes colour in different levels of sunlight. Nice to click photos!

It's a nice church to visit in Zurich. Really beautiful worth the visit. The Fraumünster (German pronunciation: [fʁaʊ̯ˈmʏnstɐ]; lit. in English: Women's Minster) is a church in Zürich which was built on the remains of a former abbey for aristocratic women which was founded in 853 by Louis the German for his daughter Hildegard. He endowed the Benedictine convent with the lands of Zürich, Uri, and the Albis forest, and granted the convent immunity, placing it under his direct authority.
