Spent the evening at Cove Batavia PIK and honestly, the vibe is unbeatable! The waterfront view is perfect – you get that breezy, laid-back atmosphere that just makes you want to stay for hours. It’s such a nice spot to catch the sunset or just chill with friends. The food and drink options are solid, with plenty of variety depending on what you’re in the mood for. I tried a couple of the seafood dishes and they were super fresh and flavorful. Plus, the whole area feels lively but not too crowded, which is a win for me. If you’re looking for a cool spot to hang out by the water, this is it. Highly recommend for a chill weekend vibe or even a date night!
I recently visited this tropical-themed food court near the sea, and it was a great spot to chill and hang out with friends. The breeze from the sea kept things feeling fresh, which was perfect, though I can imagine that in the summer, it could get really hot. Even though it was a Sunday, the place wasn’t too crowded, which made for a relaxed atmosphere. There were plenty of food stalls to choose from, offering a variety of street food-style dishes, and I tried a few. Everything I tasted was pretty good! The tropical vibe really added to the experience, making it a nice, casual place to spend some time, especially if you're looking for somewhere by the sea to kick back. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re in the area, but I’d probably avoid it in peak summer heat unless you're all about that warm, beachy vibe.
PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk) is a great spot to visit in Jakarta! The location is very strategic—just a short drive from the airport, making it super convenient. The area feels upscale, with a strong Chindo (Chinese-Indonesian) vibe, almost like stepping into a different world outside Indonesia. The food scene is amazing, catering to both halal and non-halal preferences, making it very foreigner-friendly. There are plenty of attractions, from the iconic Chinese gate to the dragon statue, making it a visually stunning place to explore. It also has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for families and couples. However, it can get quite crowded, especially at popular spots. Also, be prepared for a lot of walking since the attractions are spread out. Overall, PIK is a must-visit for its unique atmosphere, diverse food options, and great attractions—just wear comfy shoes and plan for crowds!
