What a beautiful beach! The jetty train to the aquarium was so relaxing even though the people on the train were chatting. It still felt peaceful. The ride was slow and 1.8 km long. The aquarium tour guide gave a thorough tour explaining how and why it was built, when, and how it was changed into the communities hands. I had to use my walker and was taken care of by the staff. They have an elevator for disabled customers. I was able to take my walker on the train. Thank you kindly to all the staff and volunteers of the Jetty.

This is a the famous wooden jetty extending 1.84 km into the Indian Ocean at the Busselton Foreshore Parade. In addition to being able to walk the peer, there is a train that goes the full distance along the pier as well as an underwater observatory at the end. For those interested, visit the Busselton Jetty website for details and bookings. The Jetty is accessible 24 hours a day. We recently visited early to enjoy a morning walk and sunrise. The sea conditions were calm on the day, very nice for walking. Enjoyed watching a few people fishing along with fellow morning walkers getting in a bit of exercise early in the day. You can buy coffees at a few places near the jetty from around 7am if you want a drink to enjoy with your morning walk.

Loved visiting Busselton Jetty! The walk along the jetty was super relaxing with amazing ocean views the whole way. You can also hop on a cute little train if you don’t feel like walking. The underwater observatory at the end was really cool — got to see fish and coral up close. It’s such a chill spot to hang out, take photos, and enjoy the sea breeze. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

We enjoyed the walk out on the jetty and back 1.8km. We did the underwater aquarium with the manmade reef. Seeing those fish was beautiful. I could have sat and watched them for ages but we only had 15minutes unfortunately. There is the train you can get if you can't/don't walk. Worth the investment.

If you're heading south of Perth, you have to drop by the famous Busselton Jetty. The iconic blue houses on stilts is the perfect photo op that matches the blue sea and sky in the backdrop. As we were travelling with a 5 year old, the train ride is a must as the entire length of the jetty is pretty far. There are multiple fishing spots along the way as well. For those who are interested, there's an underwater exhibition and guided tour and for those who are braver, a snorkeling experience. Knowing the history of the place, it's crazy to know how the jetty expanded over the years, and the multiple trains that have come and gone.
