Nice spot to call into if your passing by, very popular in summer for people swimming. Plenty of parking nice and close to the water. No camping, No toilets, No fires. Dog friendly. *Signs stating swim at own risk

Black Diamond Lake in Western Australia is a serene and picturesque destination, especially on a Saturday morning when the stillness enhances its charm. The lake is renowned for its striking blue waters, which shimmer under the sunlight, creating a surreal and inviting atmosphere. Surrounded by lush greenery, it’s a peaceful retreat that feels worlds away from the hustle and bustle. During my visit, I noticed the calm waters reflecting the surrounding trees, making it an ideal spot for photography or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. The area offers plenty of space for a leisurely picnic, and families were scattered along the shores enjoying the morning together. While there are no official facilities, the natural beauty more than compensates for it. The lake’s color is its standout feature, a result of the mineral-rich water left behind by the area’s coal-mining history. This unique aspect adds an intriguing element to the visit. However, it’s important to note that swimming isn’t officially recommended due to safety concerns, so visitors should exercise caution. Overall, Black Diamond Lake is a delightful spot for a quiet morning escape. Its tranquility, vivid waters, and picturesque setting make it a hidden gem worth exploring.

This is a great place to see and have a swim, the water is amazing, there’s a rope tied to a tree on the other side of the lake and that was great fun too, had a blast ??
