As someone who has been living in Bali for over 20 years, I thought I had seen it all. I’ve always been cautious about visiting places with animals, especially after some unpleasant experiences in other countries. But today, we visited Bali Bird Park — and it turned out to be one of the most touching and unforgettable experiences I’ve had on the island. The experience actually started even before we saw the first bird. After a long drive, the first thing I needed was a restroom. Honestly, I walked in with low expectations — as we often do in such places — ready to hold my breath. But to my complete surprise, the restroom was spotless. Immaculately clean, with a pleasant aroma, it set the tone for everything that followed. When even the toilets are treated with such care and love, you know the whole place is run by people who genuinely care. Yes, the tickets are not cheap, but now I truly understand where the money goes. The conditions these birds live in are incredible. Most of them are completely free within the park, flying around yet choosing to stay close to the people who care for them. You can feel the deep respect and love from the staff for every single creature there. The birds are not just well-kept — they are truly happy. The parrots are gentle, friendly, and allow you to pet them — it’s magical. My son was in awe the whole time, amazed by the sheer beauty and diversity of the birds. We also visited the reptile park next door, and as a snake lover, I was thrilled to hold a five-meter python. That was an unforgettable moment. To everyone who works at Bali Bird Park — thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your love and dedication to animals can be felt in every corner of this place. I highly recommend this park to anyone visiting Bali, especially families with children. It’s a genuine, soulful experience that will stay with you forever.
Bali Bird Park was an enjoyable spot with an impressive collection of birds. However, it wasn't a hit with my kid, so we just explored the area, watched a short bird show, and headed home. Booking through Traveloka helped save some money, with a ticket price of IDR 135k for 1 adult and 1 child. What's more, the GoCar fare from my hotel in Denpasar would've cost more than the tickets lol. Visited during the weekday, so it wasn't too crowded. In fact, we had some spots almost to ourselves. Additionally, the restroom was clean but there's no bidet spray, so it might be so weird dan agak kebingungan for Indonesian buddies hehe
Such a wonderful experience! ❤️ It started with friendly birds—many of them freely roaming outside their cages, which made the interaction feel more natural. Every corner was picturesque: vibrant birds in a lush tropical garden. I had a hard time picking which photos to upload! I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. The staff were actively watering plants and raking dry leaves, which kept the garden looking fresh. The birds are tame and lovely, but please be respectful around them! And surprise—there were Komodo dragons too, just chilling! I visited alone and still had a great time. Brought a coke along to lift the mood as I explored. Totally worth it! ?
I recently visited Bali Bird Park with my kids, and we had such a great time! The park is spacious, clean, and very well maintained. There are so many beautiful bird species to see, and the interactive activities made the visit even more exciting for the kids. They loved getting up close with the birds—it was a new and memorable experience for them. Overall, it was a fun and educational outing for the whole family. Highly recommended for parents traveling with children! There is an optional photo package, and they really responded fast with my queries.
I really enjoyed my time here. It was such a wonderful experience to see so many beautiful birds up close in a lush, natural setting. The park is well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit even more enjoyable. I loved exploring the different aviaries and watching the birds interact in their habitats. Overall, it was a memorable and relaxing day that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali!
