키질천불동(克孜尔千佛洞,Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves: Baicheng County, Aksu, Xinjiang, China) 은 타림분지 의  가장자리인 쿠차에서 서쪽 으로 75km 떨어진 무자트강의 북쪽 기슭에 위치해 있습니다.
키질에는 동쪽에서 서쪽으로 2 km길이로 뻗은 236개의 석굴이 남아 있는데 이 중 135개는 비교적 온전하게 남아있고 서쪽동굴군(1~80번 석굴),동쪽 동굴군(136~201번 석굴)이 중앙 에는1~30번 석굴이 배열되어 있습니다.
6세기 중반부터 번성했던 전형적 인 중앙 기둥 석굴(지티석굴)은 부처님의 사리탑을 형상화하여 순례자가 기둥 주위를 돌며 예불 할 수 있도록 한것이 특징적인데 지티 석굴 (부처상석굴),치티티 석굴 (예불실),바하라석굴 (수도원)의 3가지 유형으로 바하라석굴에는 벽화가 없습니다.
고대 토하라 왕국 쿠처와 관련된 고대 불교 석굴중 가장 크며 신장 위구르 자치구에서 가장 큰 규모로 AD.3C~8C.만들어진 석굴은 중국 최초의 석굴로도 알려져 있습니다.
키질 천불동은 2014년 UNESCO 세계문화유산 실크로드:장안-천산 회랑으로 등재되었습니다.

키질 천불동 Open시간은 5.1~ 10.7: 9:30~ 19시/,10.8~4.30: 10~18까지 이며 입장료는 서부 55위안/인, 동부 55위안/인으로 군,경노, 아동 우대정책 있습니다.(2025년3월 현재)

The Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves (Kizil Thousand Buddha Caves: Baicheng County, Aksu, Xinjiang, China) are located on the northern bank of the Muzat River, 75 km west of Kuqa, the edge of the Tarim Basin. There are 236 grottoes in Kizil, stretching 2 km from east to west, of which 135 are relatively intact, and the West Group of Caves (Grottoes 1-80) and the East Group of Caves (Grottoes 136-201) are arranged in the center, with Grottoes 1-30 arranged in the center. The typical central pillar grottoes (Zhititi Grottoes) that flourished from the mid-6th century are characterized by the shape of the Buddha's stupa, allowing pilgrims to walk around the pillars and worship. There are three types: Zhititi Grottoes (Buddha statue grottoes), Chititi Grottoes (worship hall), and Bahara Grottoes (monastery). Bahara Grottoes do not have murals. 
It is the largest of the ancient Buddhist grottoes related to the ancient Tohara Kingdom of Kucha and the largest in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Built between AD.3C and 8C, it is also known as the first grotto in China. 
The Thousand Buddha Caves of Kizil were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014 as the Silk Road: Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor. 
Kizil Thousand Buddha Cave opening hours are 5.1~10.7: 9:30~19:00/, 10.8~4.30: 10~18, and the admission fee is 55 yuan/person in the west and 55 yuan/person in the east, and there are preferential policies for military, military, and children. (As of March 2025)

中國最悠久歷史石窟之一,倚山而建,遊客不可帶身上物件入訪和禁止拍攝,洞内有專人講解歷史,牆身大部份已被破壞可惜

One of the oldest historical grottoes in China, it is built against a mountain. Tourists are not allowed to bring their belongings into the cave and photography is prohibited. There are dedicated people inside the cave to explain the history. It is a pity that most of the walls have been destroyed.

Một di chỉ quan trọng trên con đường tơ lụa trên vùng lãnh thổ Tân Cương. An important site on the Silk Road in Xinjiang territory. Located in Kuhar - historically the country of Qiu Ci, the hometown of Kumarajiva - One of the two most famous translators of Chinese Buddhism (Bukong, Xuanzang and Kumarajiva...). This is a testament to the spread of Buddhism, the role of Buddhism in the early development of the Silk Road with the famous Mo Cao Cave in Dunhuang. Although the cave system here is not as brilliant and majestic as Mac Cao cave, it still hides many answers for researchers when encountering difficulties in mapping solutions at Mac Cao cave. And by the way, introducing to you the original caves is the Ajanta cave system in Aurangabad in northwestern India.
