Things you can do with your kids in Singapore this December
1. Go on one of the walking tours with Monster Day Tours

Take your pick of one of the guided walking tours from the heritage tour series or the urban tour series. Places that you can choose include Chinatown, Kampong Glam, Little India, Civic District, Marina Bay and Changi Jewel. Let your kids loose at Singapore's first nature adventure playground! Each play session is an unstructured, risky play experience, which your child will be bound to love. There are plenty of experiences for them to choose from, which includes the nature swing, woodworking, mud play, sand play and lots more. The ever-friendly certified nature rangers are always there to help guide your kids so that they can have all the fun in a safe manner. Do refer to their Covid-19 measures in their advisory. Do not let your children put on anything that you do not want to get dirty. Your kids will need to put on long pants, long sleeve t-shirts, covered shoes and gloves. Some clothing merchandise can be purchased from ForestPlay.
Remember to also bring extra clothing, mask, footwear and extra plastic bags for used clothing for your kids. You can pack your own food from home or you can consider takeaway from the Good Old Days food court's halal-certified Asian menu or Western menu in Sentosa near Beach monorail station as the kids will surely be hungry after all that active play! ?️

Put on your sun hats and prepare your rain gear! If your kids love horses or like being out in nature, you can consider a day trip to Gallop Stable at Pasir Ris Park. Children aged 3 years and above can opt to take a pony ride. You can also sign up for the feeding session for the horses. ?

If you are trying to escape the tropical heat or the unpredictable weather, indoor gyms and play areas are a good bet! For a calm morning or afternoon of play, you can head down to The Joy of Toys at Clarke Quay Central. There are plenty of toys to choose from, dollhouses, train sets, dramatic play, puzzles and many more. There is also a dedicated babies & toddlers play area. This indoor play area is equipped with a hot water dispenser and diapering area so that your younger kids can take a break in between playtime. If they are, sign up for a session or the December camp at BEEP LAB where your kids can work on design and building projects with Albert and his team, passionate educators at BEEP Lab who are also architecturally-trained designers. 8. Make DIY slime with your kids at home!
