Planning a road trip to Cameron Highlands is a must-do! Situated in Pahang, this highland retreat is famous for its serene tea plantations, local fruit farms, and cool weather. If you want to make the most of time here, scroll down our list for super fun things to do in Cameron Highlands!

1. The Sheep Sanctuary

One of the newest attractions in Cameron Highlands, make sure to visit The Sheep Sanctuary! Situated in Kea Farm in Brinchang, you can find 14 resident Merino sheep that are ready to meet visitors. While the admission is free for the time being, you can purchase some food for the sheep at RM3 each and feed these fluffy animals.

2. Cameron Lavender Garden

The Cameron Lavender Garden may be small, but it provides plenty of Instagrammable corners for anyone who enjoys a quick stroll in the garden. With an admission fee of RM8 for adults and RM5 for children, you're free to roam around the lavender garden, which also displays other types of flowers ranging from petunias to hydrangeas. Don't forget to try their lavender ice cream too!

3. Strawberry farms

If you're planning to bring home some souvenirs, make sure to buy boxes of fresh strawberries from Cameron Highlands! There are a few strawberry farms in Tanah Rata and Brinchang that let you choose and pluck the ones you like, and priced them according to weight.

4. Cactus Point

One of the oldest flower nurseries in Cameron Highland, try to add Cactus Point in Brinchang to your itinerary. If you've always wanted to get a cactus for your home or simply love looking at them, you can find cactus in many shapes and sizes here. Free admission for all visitors, be extra careful when you're exploring the cactus farm with your kids.

5. Cameron Highland Butterfly Farm

If you want to explore more things to do in Cameron Highlands, look no further than the Cameron Highlands Butterfly Farm. Part insect gallery and part zoological garden, this small attraction is enough to explore and fill the remaining hours of your trip. Since it's a good family-friendly attraction, your kids will love seeing the colourful flutters flying from one flower to another. The admission fee is RM5 per adult and RM2 per child.

6. Time Tunnel

Take a step back in time when you visit Time Tunnel Cameron Highlands. Recreating Chinese coffee shops, food stalls, and barber shops in the past using antique and old memorabilia, it's a wonderful place to visit with your family and show the kids how the old days of Malaya were like. The best part is, you can take snapshots in the museum too! The admission fee is RM6 per adult and RM4 per child.

7. K.C. Kwang & Sons Grape & Tomato Farm

Once you're done plucking strawberries and seeing the lavender garden, make your way to KC Kwang & Sons Grape & Tomato Farm. Situated in Kampung Raja, this agricultural farm's main produce is grapes and you'll be amazed to see how large these grapes are!

Come during the harvest season in June and December to see these juicy grapes before it's being exported locally and internationally, and the owner would allow visitors to explore the farm too.

Unlike the other strawberry farms in Cameron Highlands, you're not allowed to pluck grapes but they do sell them in the farm if you wish to purchase them.

8. Orchid & Rose Garden

If you're easily thrilled by the sight of fresh blooms, you're going to love spending time at O&R Garden Cameron Highlands. Stands for orchids and roses, this farm is situated beside Nova Highlands Hotel and displays other types of flowers too. For those interested to get a few potted plants for their home, make your way to the shop where you can get them at a reasonable price.

9. Mossy Forest

If you love exploring the scenic hiking trails in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, you're going to love exploring the misty Mossy Forest. A highland forest that's popular among adventure seekers, the forest is true to its name and surrounded by moss and wild ferns. Thanks to the misty shrouds, some locals would refer to it as Cloud Forest and we recommend visiting in the morning to chance upon its mysterious nature.

10. Tea plantations
