If there’s one thing we miss most about Bangkok, it’s definitely the amazing street food! From tantalising flavours to incredible touch of spices, it’s no surprise why Singaporean foodies rank Thai cuisine as one of their top favourites. While we wait for international borders to reopen, here’s a way to enjoy delicious Thai street food in the heart of Singapore!

Come and travel with your taste buds at The Original Boat Noodle! Famous for serving noodles in small bowls of bite sized portions, this eatery is a great place to savour a bit of everything. If you’re already a fan of The Original Boat Noodle, we’re excited to share that their latest outlet in VivoCity is now halal-certified! Guess what? That means all The Original Boat Noodle outlets in Singapore are halal-certified too!

The Original Boat Noodle has come a long way in Singapore’s halal food scene and has grown its presence as an awesome place for families to get together and friends to hang out. True to its name, you have to try their signature Original Boat Noodle, which originated from the floating market of Ayutthaya in Thailand. Large bowls were inconvenient to enjoy on the boat, so the local hawkers came up with an idea to serve noodles in small bowls, similar to the ones you see at The Original Boat Noodle! Priced at $1.50 per bowl, you can choose different flavours like the spicy and sour Pathumthani, Creamy Tomyum or the spicy and creamy Ayutthaya 2.0!

Before you take on one too many bowls, there are more varieties of Thai street food to choose from such as the Tasty Chicken Wings that are irresistibly juicy and marinated in a rich flavoured batter before deep frying to perfection - and it tastes even better with their sweet Thai chili sauce!

Don’t stop there! There’s also the Crispy Fried Som Tam that consists of savoury green papayas and fresh carrots fried until crispy and served with exotic spicy and sour sauce. They also called it Somtam with a twist and don’t be surprised if you keep coming back for a second helping.

After Raya, treat your family to the Original Boat Noodle’s Lunch Combo!

Available on Monday to Friday between 11.30AM-3PM, treat your family to a post-Raya meal with The Original Boat Noodle’s Lunch Combo where you can enjoy 5 bowls of noodles with a choice of one drink for $9.90! Other lunch combos include Bangkok Supreme Platter ($29.90), Boat Noodle Snack Sampler ($19.90), Bangkok Omelette Rice ($10.90), and more. For more info, check out their Facebook and Instagram pages! This offer is not valid on public holidays and the eve of public holidays.

With so many halal Thai street food to enjoy at The Original Boat Noodles, there’s no better time to treat your family to a delightful meal!
