Icon Siam is an upcoming commercial complex that's worth 54 billion baht (USD$1.64 billion) and is situated along the Chao Phraya river in the Khlong San district, Bangkok! Dubbed as the "mother-of-all-malls", the total floor space of this mall is around 525,000 square metres and it will consist of two large malls, a convention hall and a condominium! ? Details about this mall are coming in slowly and we're already seeing lots of excited things that visitors can look forward to:

1. It will have an indoor floating market

Yes, it's not a true Thai experience if you don't immerse yourself in the floating market scene and here's why we think Icon Siam is worth a visit - it will have its own indoor floating market! ? Now that's what we call a level-up. ?

We know what you're thinking - how authentic is this? With a lot of work and effort being put into this project, we're pretty sure that it's going to be worth a try! Plus, you'll enjoy an air-conditioned environment too, so that's a plus! ?

2. Takashiyama and Apple will have their first ever outlets in Thailand

Let's be honest here - who doesn't love Takashimaya? It's the place to be for retail therapy, and we can vouch for that too ? Good news for avid shoppers out there, your shopping experience is about to get a lot better as Takashimaya is opening its first store in Thailand! Now you can expect your favourite Japanese cosmetics brands or anything Japanese for that matter ?
