If you're looking for a new afternoon teatime spot in KL, you should definitely check out Tenggek Burung Cafe! Located on a hilltop in Jalan Bukit Keramat, this quaint and idyllic cafe reminds us of an English countryside cottage, or a mountaintop retreat you might find in Cameron Highlands. Complete with a small garden full of gorgeous flowers, you can snap some beautiful shots before heading inside for your meal. ?

The inside of the café is just as breathtaking, with fresh flowers decorating the walls - a perfect background for snapping your lunchtime #ootd! We're getting strong Korean café vibes from this. ? Per social distancing guidelines during RMCO, the cafe is currently limiting customers to 2 pax per table, and children 12 years and below are not allowed to dine-in right now. However, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy an afternoon out with your best friend in this pretty café. Or why not take your mum out for a special meal to give her a break for the day? ?

Tenggek Burung Cafe serves up a mix of Western and local cuisine so you can choose what you're feeling like that day. Try their Nasi Lemak Pandan or Johor Laksa if you're craving something local. Or if you're visiting on a Friday, try out their Friday set lunch that's just RM38 and includes a starter, main, dessert, and drink! ? Choose from lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, mac n cheese, or pesto pasta - and end your meal with their mango panna cotta, butter cake, or brownies ala mode. ? There's no better way to celebrate the start of the weekend!

Their light bites are just as good too if you're just having afternoon tea or stopping by for a snack. Their Roti Paung is a customer favourite - soft, fluffy, and freshly baked! ? Pair it with an order of sambal ikan bilis for some extra spice, and you've got your mid-day snack lined up.

Don't forget the sweet stuff either! Their cakes are all gorgeous, but the Raspberry Rose Pistachio cake definitely stands out! Look at how gorgeous those swirls are, and the yummy raspberry coulis sandwiched between layers of rose pistachio cake sound like a heavenly treat.

Make sure to try their Pengat Durian cake too. Coming with a small jug of rich and creamy pengat durian to drizzle all over the dense slice of cake, durian lovers are sure to fall in love with this dessert. ? Pair a slice of cake with a cup of tea and you're all set!

While you may not be able to visit with all of your friends right now, there's no better time to scope out this cute café so you can look forward to more afternoon teatime adventures in the future. ?
