Located in the upscale shopping district of Ginza, Tendon Itsuki is probably Tokyo's first halal tendon (tempura bowl) bar. As the eatery is really small, you can watch the Chef fry the tempura right in front of you, and this is as good as it gets! Their tempura dishes are all fried to perfection and made upon order so you can enjoy hot and crispy tempura every single time.

The HHWT team has been to Tendon Itsuki before and we highly recommend getting their Special Tendon which has snow crab tempura and it costs just JPY1500, which is pretty affordable in the Ginza area. ? Their other tendons are reasonably priced too, starting from JPY1000. The tempura batter is crispy and flavourful but yet light on the palate. The tempura sauce is delicious too and will definitely add to the experience!

If you’re looking for prayer spaces, you can be rest assured that you’ll find one nearby! You can find a prayer room at Ginza Matsuya shopping mall a few minutes away from the eatery. The prayer room is located on the building's rooftop which you can conveniently access by elevator from the first floor. ? There are prayer mats, a water tap for wudu’, and a qiblah marking on the ceiling for easy reference. How convenient is that?
