It's April, so spring should be around the corner, right? Not for many parts of Japan!
Snow still covers the ground in many prefectures and one of the snowiest places in Japan, the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, will be experiencing a snow corridor!
This cold route connects Nagano and Toyama and is a popular place to take part in the annual Yuki no Otani Festival (or Snow Corridor Festival).
It is only celebrated in April through to June during the cold, cold winter.
If you're in the area, take a tour down to the route to see the massive piles of snow all neatly packed to the sides of the road.
You can check out tours to the route here. Check out this amazing phenomenon ASAP!
Psst.. If you're in Nagoya, check out this halal kaarage chicken shop!
