Looking to indulge in halal Taiwanese food? Wong Fu Fu is a new Taiwan-inspired hot plate restaurant at North Bridge Road that offers a Muslim-friendly menu! Wong Fu Fu’s concept is based on the legend of a ‘Little Girl Who Played With Fire’. Inspired by the nightly campfires at her home, Wong Fu Fu believed that food should know no boundaries which is why the restaurant serves up sizzling hot plates that are suitable for Muslims to enjoy!

Just a 3-minute walk from Masjid Sultan, this new Taiwanese-inspired restaurant is set to open on 23 February and serves a variety of Taiwanese-style hot plate meals topped with its tasty signature sauces. And the best part? It comes with a mini buffet and an unlimited flow of Taiwan bubble tea!

You can choose from 8 main menu options with a choice of rice or noodles, eggs, and 1 or 2 Signature sauces. If you pick rice or noodles, you can choose from either white rice, Taiwan egg fried rice, udon, or spaghetti. The signature sauces available are Signature Brown Sauce, Black Pepper Sauce, Mushroom Sauce, or Tomato Sauce (suitable for vegetarians).

The menu ranges from Grilled Beef Striploin to Signature Taiwanese Fried Chicken Cutlet, so there’s definitely something for everyone! For vegetarians looking to try Taiwanese-style hot plates, you can choose their Plant-Based Hamburg while seafood fans can enjoy Grilled Salmon or Mixed Grilled Seafood.

Once you have decided on your main course, head over to the mini buffet bar that offers up to 15 different types of Hot and Cold side dishes! Some of these delicious side dishes you can look forward to are Marinated King Oyster, Spicy Chicken Cubes, Fries with Plum Powder, Taiwanese Scallion Pancake with chicken floss, and Taiwan-Style Prawn Omelette.

Complement your meal with free-flow drinks where you can DIY your own Bubble Milk Tea with 9 amazing choices of toppings! If you don’t fancy bubble tea, the restaurant also serves seasonal drinks like Winter Melon Tea, Taiwan Red Tea, and Iced Lemon Tea, or you can enjoy a simple cup of Hot/Iced coffee or tea.

If you’re not too hungry, you can just enjoy the all-you-can-eat À la carte Buffet and DIY Bubble Milk Tea station to satisfy your cravings or simply have your DIY bubble tea on the go!
