[UPDATE] TP Tea has just opened another outlet at Suntec City. Now, you don't need to go all the way to Changi Airport to savour their chewy pearls ?

There's no doubt that the bubble tea craze in Singapore is real, and it's become such a part of our lives that we can't live without it. Well, here's some good news for all you bubble tea fans - a famous Taiwanese bubble tea chain, TP Tea, has recently opened in Singapore and it's halal!

Yes, we know, you probably can't contain your excitement right now. TP Tea is at Changi Airport Terminal 2 and Suntec City and you'd probably never have guessed that this chain has over 300 stores worldwide ? Tea leaves are actually roasted in Taiwan and freshly brewed in Singapore - a testament to just how authentic it is. Fun fact: TP Tea's parent company is a famous Taiwanese tea house Chun Shui Tang which started the whole bubble tea trend, so you know it's good!

And if you think it's just another bubble tea shop, you couldn't be more wrong! Say hello to the FIRST 24-hour bubble tea shop in Singapore. Now you can have bubble tea, all day, every day.

Note: Only the outlet at Changi Airport is 24-hours.

One of their best-sellers is Tie Guan Yin Tea Latte ($4.60) which consists of premium grade oolong tea and milk foam at the top. This Chinese tea is usually known for having a full-bodied taste but the one at TP Tea isn't too strong so if you're not an oolong fan, why not give this refreshing drink a try?

Alternatively, you can also choose to have their Pearl Milk Tea ($3.90). The main highlight of this drink is actually their tapioca pearls which have a soft and chewy texture. It's freshly prepared and made every 3 hours, so it's definitely of high quality. Green tea lovers can also take delight in their Premium Green Tea ($2.90).

But wait, we haven't got to the best part yet. If you think that milk tea itself is already so good, then you need to try TP Tea's Pearl Milk Tea Soft-Serve Ice Cream ($3.60). Imagine smooth and creamy soft-serve combined with the perfect chewiness from the pearls - this is one dessert you can't leave without trying ? Plus, this is only available at TP Tea's Singapore outlets and another one in Taiwan!

While bubble tea might not exactly be the healthiest drink, those of you who are health-conscious can take comfort in the fact that TP Tea uses cane sugar instead of white sugar. And you can also choose your preferred level of sugar and ice, so that's a plus point.

With the opening of TP Tea's second outlet at Suntec City, now you won't need to go all the way to Changi Airport to get a taste of their awesome bubble tea. So, grab your fellow bubble tea lovers for a bubble tea fix you won't regret! ?
