For the uninitiated, Sunway Lagoon is the one-stop place in Malaysia for days of fun! And rightly so: it's got over 90 attractions across 6 theme parks, you won't cover everything in a day. Sunway Lagoon is a holiday of its own: and we're definitely not complaining about it ?
Where & How To Get There
The popular theme park is located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia in the bustling town of Sunway City. Being just 15-minutes away from Kuala Lumpur, the theme park is easily accessed by most forms of transport!
1. Head over by car
If you're not already staying in one of Sunway Lagoon's hotels, chances are you'll be coming from Kuala Lumpur. All you've got to do now to get to the exciting theme park is key in Sunway Lagoon's coordinates into your GPS!

Accessibly via a network of highways like the Federal Highway, Damansara-Puchong Expressway, New Pantai Expressway and KESAS Highway, you'll find yourself at the park in no time.
2. Public Transport
Sunway Lagoon's accessible spot also means you can get to the theme park via public transport. Here's how!
(A) KTM Komuter Train
Drop off at Subang Jaya Station, and catch a feeder bus to the Sunway Pyramid stop.
(B) Via Putra LRT
Drop off at Kelana Jaya Station, and catch a feeder bus to the Sunway Pyramid stop.
(C) Sunway City’s Bus Rapid Transit Station
Alternatively, head to Bus Rapid Transit Station 3 and find elevated covered walkways to Sunway Lagoon, Sunway's Hotel and more!
3. Free Shuttle Service
In our opinion, the last option is the best option: it's free and brings you straight to the park's entrance! Sunway City has a free shuttle bus service that comes every 25 minutes (subject to traffic conditions). The shuttle stops at Sunway Lagoon Entrance, Sunway Pyramid Hotel and more!
Opening Hours & Ticket Prices
Before you head to the theme park, you're going to need to know 2 important things: Sunway Lagoon's opening hours and ticket prices!
In general, Sunway Lagoon opens every Wednesday to Monday from 10 am to 6 pm. They are closed every Tuesday except on Malaysian School and Public Holidays.
However, the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon opens every day! They are open from 11 am to 6pm on weekdays and 10 am to 6pm on weekdays.

Alright let's get to the real exciting part: the theme parks! Sunway Lagoon's popularity comes from its 6 theme parks, all with different rides and attractions for you to enjoy.
1. Amusement Park
If you're an adrenaline junkie, Sunway Lagoon's Amusement Park is the place to be. Hang upside down from the 360-degree rotating pirate ship, walk across Malaysia's longest bridge (428m) from 60 feet above a lake, and hold on tight as you ride the fast-paced twists of Sunway Lagoon's roller coaster!
If you're a family with kids, no worries though - they've got kid-friendly activites too! Drop by the carousel, go for a spin with Apache Pots, or try your hand at the games at Fun World! You might just win a prize ?
2. Water Park
Perhaps Sunway Lagoon's most famous attraction, Sunway Lagoon Water Park is the best way to beat Malaysia's tropical heat. Race your friends down the Congo Challenge, drop 15 metres down with Cameroon Climb, then launch from a tower 11 storeys high into turbulent waters at Vuvuzela. You'll be shrieking with joy your entire time there!
3. Wildlife Park
Families with animal lovers will love this one! Sunway Lagoon's Wildlife Park is the perfect opportunity for you to get up close and personal with more than 150 species of animals from all around the world! The zoo is set up to be fully interactive. Here you can feed animals, watch animals perform and more!
4. Scream Park
Horror fans, this one's for you. According to the theme park, great evil resides in Sunway Lagoon's very own Scream Park. Prepare for spine-chilling activities like Sharknado Alive!, where guests can embark on a studio tour of the Asylum Studios Soundstage.

5. Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon
If you liked Sunway Lagoon's Water Park, you should definitely drop by Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon. As Nickelodeon's first theme park, you'd expect Nickelodeon to have pulled out all their best attractions and activities here: and you'd be right!
Challenge each other to a thrilling race reaching speeds of up to 60 kph or 0-2.5 g in under 2 seconds with Monsoon 360, experience near-vertical drops with Kubarango, and prepare for surprise drops and turns at Cobra Creek, Boa Constrictor & Crocodile Gully!

6. X Park
