If you love fish and chips, be prepared to be blown away by steep’s elevated version of it - Tropical Fish ($22)! ? They pride themselves on their fresh fish produce which is locally farmed. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, you’ll love the refreshing citrus taste that’s zesty in beginning with a hint of spice towards the end! Served with a side of mashed potatoes and salad drizzled with mango gastrique (steep’s homemade sauce!), seafood lovers will be in for a treat!

2. The Clucks

The Clucks ($23) is a fresh take on the classic pepper chicken, topped with housemade salsa verde sauce and pickled vegetables on the side! The chicken is infused with various spices and brined for up to 12 hours, leaving the meat tender and juicy. ? If you love flavourful chicken that’s juicy and packed with flavour, you have to try this dish!

3. Pancakes

steep makes their pancake batter fresh daily to ensure that they always come out soft and fluffy. Their Pancakes ($16) are topped with a generous heap of seasonal berries, chocolate crumbs & cream cheese frosting! ? Unlike the typical maple syrup that may cause your stack of yummy pancakes to get soggy, steep has a specialty blonde syrup (that’s creamy, rich and buttery all in one bite). Their pancakes are highly recommended for kids (and adults) who have a sweet tooth!

If you’re craving for hearty meals that have an ingenious and flavourful twist to them, you can’t go wrong with a visit to steep. The homey atmosphere coupled with the comforting dishes makes for the perfect meal to enjoy with your friends. If you haven’t made brunch or dinner plans, why not visit steep and be amazed by their experimental menu that promises an exciting dining experience?
