Remember a few months back, we introduced you to a Singapore eatery selling spicy ayam geprek with up to 27 levels of spice? ? Well, for those of you across the causeway who can't live without spicy food, no need to FOMO (fear of missing out) because we've got exciting news!

An Indonesian concept eatery called Kotak in Subang Jaya serves ayam geprek with up to 10 levels of spice. It might not sound as impressive as 27 levels but check this out - they use ghost pepper chillies ? FYI, ghost pepper is one of the top 10 spiciest chillies in the world with more than 1 million Scoville heat units.

You might have heard of ayam penyet (smashed fried chicken) but what exactly is ayam geprek? It's almost similar but for ayam geprek, the chicken is fried American style and it's not only smashed but also shredded and mixed with chilli so your whole mouth will be on fire after eating it!

Their signature Ayam Geprek (RM13.80) is the star here - crispy aromatic chicken is mixed with their specialty sambal chilli consisting of ghost peppers and chilli kampung. Spice lovers, here's the perfect chance for you to challenge yourself to up to 10 levels of spiciness. Level 10 has 100 pieces of ghost pepper chillies and we guarantee you'll feel the heat no matter how great your tolerance for spice is ?

But if you're not about to go crazy on the spice, then get their Cheesy Ayam Geprek (RM15.80) instead, where the ayam geprek is topped with cheese and torched till it's melted. You can still have that chilli burst but the gooey cheese will (hopefully!) balance out the spice ? Plus, who doesn't love cheese right? They also have another version using Nachos cheese instead.

Maggi lovers, rejoice! You can also have your spicy ayam geprek with maggi. Their Mi Sedap Sambal Matah and Mi Sedap Sambal Pedas will leave you thoroughly satisfied and of course, crying for water ?

If you'd like to have an Indonesian feast, Kotak also serves your usual Indonesian favourites like Ayam Panggang, Sate Ayam and other variants of ayam geprek too! The best part is, they are available on various food delivery services so you don't have to make the trip down to Subang Jaya. So, are you ready to take on what is probably the spiciest chicken in KL? If you are, then head over to Kotak for a fiery meal you won't forget ?
