We're always happy when there's a new halal eatery to try here in Singapore - especially when they have some pretty mouthwatering items on the menu.

And boy does this one tempt our tastebuds!  The Social Outcast is an eatery that opened up in Tampines early last month and it's pretty hard to not to get excited about it.(Update: The Social Outcast has since moved to Bedok!) With a menu that includes wagyu beef, unagi, lamb AND portobello mushroom burgers, plus pasta like aglio olio, it's hard to resist! In addition, given that it's run out of a stall located in a coffee shop, this fuss-free eatery offers its items at prices that start from as low as SGD8.90 ?

The Social Eatery uses a charcoal grill to cook their patties, which are smoked using hickory wood, so you know you're in for something special! Their signature item is the 400 Days Grain Fed Australia F1 Wagyu Beef burger (SGD19.90), which is served with tomato, alfalfa and mozzarella cheese on a brioche bun.

For something a little spicy, try the Smoked Dried Chipotle & Guacamole Beef burger (SGD10.90), or if you're in the mood for something different, what about giving the Teriyaki Unagi burger (SGD15.90) a go?

If you're looking for something a little more simple, though, you could always go for the French Onion & Mushroom Beef burger (SGD10.90)  - with caramelised onions and sauteed mushrooms that give some extra flair. If you're not in the mood for beef, no problem - they also have the Roasted Chicken Mushroom burger (SGD10.90) and the Sesame Mayo Portobello Mushroom burger (SGD8.90) that will do the trick.

The stall also has a couple of pasta options to check out- Shrimp Aglio Olio (SGD8.90) and Basil Pesto With Grilled Portobello Mushrooms (SGD8.90). Don't neglect the sides on offer either, especially the Crispy Chicken Skin (SGD3.90)!

So if you're looking for a new spot to get some good grub this weekend, look no further. Juicy burgers await! The stall will be open during Singapore's upcoming long weekend (including National Day on Friday, 9th August  2019 and Raya Haji on Sunday, 11th August 2019). They'll be closed on the Monday and Tuesday following Hari Raya Haji though (11th & 12th August 2019, so make sure you stop by before then!
