Been missing the yummy halal Korean food and your favourite attractions in South Korea? Well, we've got a piece of great news that'll bring you one step closer to travelling to Korea again! Singapore and South Korea have decided on a fast-lane arrangement where essential business and official travel between the two countries will begin this Friday (4 Sep).

Under this arrangement, eligible travellers will have to adhere to the mutually agreed terms and follow the public health measures set by both countries. Some of these measures are pre-departure and post-arrival testing and adhering to a controlled itinerary for the first 14 days of their arrival.

Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) says that this arrangement will help restore connectivity and economic recovery between both countries. This came after Singapore's Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan spoke to his South Korean counterpart. You can find more information about the fast-lane arrangements and application process on the SafeTravel website on 4 Sep.

While leisure travel is not on the list yet, this gives us hope that we'll get to travel to South Korea very soon! If you're planning for a future Korea trip, check out our articles which will inspire you:
