If there's one dish that Singapore is known for, it's got to be Chilli Crab. Its thick, sweet and savoury tomato and chilli-based sauce is such an ingenious idea. Not to mention that it tastes exceptional with chunky crab meat and fried mantou (Chinese steamed buns) ?

What if we tell you there's an easier way to eat Chilli Crab without the mess of cracking the crab legs and claws open? Hawker, a halal-certified eatery at Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay will satisfy all your chilli crab cravings in just a few heavenly bites. Opened by the famous seafood chain, No Signboard, the eatery prides itself for being the first Asian fast food restaurant in Singapore ?

The star of Hawker is, of course, its Signature Chilli Crab Bao ($8.90 ala carte). Chunky crab patty is slathered with generous amounts of chilli crab sauce and sandwiched between a fried mantou, resembling a burger. With a yummy sauce that's so addictive, you'll find yourself licking every last bit of it ? You can enjoy it ala carte or as a meal ($10.90) complete with curly fries and a drink!

#HHWT Tip: If you can't enough of this, then order their 6pcs Mantou with Chill Crab Sauce ($4.90) where you can dip the fried mantou in the chilli crab sauce to your heart's content!

If you think eating chilli crab in a burger form is an amazing idea, their Nasi Lemak Burger and Chicken Rice Burger (from $8.90) will delight you too! Using rice as "buns", these two dishes taste almost as good as the real thing. The Nasi Lemak Burger's rice has just the right amount of coconut taste while the chilli hits the spot ?
