We previously covered 14 delicious halal eateries in the west of Singapore, but what about the east? ? There are definitely some famous halal eateries in the east such as the various places at Simpang Bedok, but this time we're just taking a look at some of the amazing choices available in Tampines! ?

So if you live in Tampines but don't feel like travelling all the way to Bugis or Orchard Road to satisfy your cravings, here are some nearby places to check out! ?

P.S. Thinking of treating yourself this weekend? These 14 affordable halal buffets (under SGD30/pax!) are perfect for a get-together!

1. The Social Outcast

The Social Outcast only opened mid-2019 making it one of the newest eateries on this list.(Update: The Social Outcast has since moved to Bedok!) However it's already captured our hearts with their thick, juicy beef and lamb burger patties. ? Their patties are also smoked using hickory wood and grilled over charcoal, for a savoury smoky taste that sets it apart from others.

Make sure to try their signature 400 Days Grain Fed Australia F1 Wagyu Beef burger (SGD19.90) when you visit. The sweetness of the brioche bun pairs perfectly with the savoury patty, and the equally delicious toppings of tomato, alfalfa sprouts, and mozzarella cheese will have you craving more. ? For a less indulgent (though no less delicious!) option you can also order their French Onion & Mushroom Beef burger (SGD10.90) or Sesame Mayo Portobello Mushroom burger (SGD8.90) which have the same juice and rich taste.
