“I stayed in one of the private rooms of four with a few of my friends. The room is tight but very clean. I found the beds to be comfortable as well. The only thing for me that would give all 5 stars, is consistency between the beds. Some had curtains on all sides and some didn't. One bed didn't have a lock box, and another bed was missing a power strip. Overall, this was a very nice stay in a great location, at a decent rate. Would definitely come again.” “A scam, do not book here at all costs The management will confirm your booking, cancel your booking on their behalf and say that your credit card is invalid and not working, proceeds to extract funds from your credit card for "cancellation fee policy" and refuses to issue a refund. I got back my refund by calling my bank and disputing, if you are reading this avoid this place on Booking.com/Agoda at all costs.”

“I don't think Ill ever see as many amenities ever again. I could barely sleep thinking about all the restaurants I wanted to try. I finally relaxed and made food in the common area. Might be the best food of the trip. I got help finding the grocery store and using the gas stove. Then I had extra time to catch up on sleep because I wasn't taking the bus an hour or two away for more expensive restaurants. The way that people are considerate of all these things I would want might be more impressive than the bullet train. There's even a lint roller I borrowed. I wish my apartment was like this. Of course it's just a lot smaller than my apartment but very worth it for the price especially since Im just here for vacation. I hope there are hotels like this in America but its too expensive there.” “This is a budget hotel similar to a hostel and it is quite good.. clean and lots of amenities and suitable again for a hostel. It is clean and comfortable and all the staff was great. Location is it is in a older part of town there are markets handy with food and it is very near a train station but I will only rate its location as three star because you definitely have to travel to get to any other interesting area of Tokyo but budget begats some concessions. I rate it high 4 star and recommend it.”

The food was tasty but needed a little more flavor to it. The presentation was very well done and again the staff was super nice. It feels a bit different from the rest of Saigon, AKA Ho Chi Minh City. It's a gated neighborhood that you cannot go in with the car.”

“The hostel is in a very well-located area, close to the station. The rooms are very comfortable, although the breakfast could be improved. The hotel staff was friendly, but the quality of service could be better. Would I return to this hostel? Maybe, but I have other options in mind for the next time. I stayed 6 days in Kyoto and I think 3 nights is enough. I would prioritize spending more days in Tokyo.” “It was my second time staying here and it was great both times! The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful if you had any troubles or concerns. Everything was very clean and tidy. The towels are changed everyday and the bedsheets every four days, which is really nice. We also got some free stuff such as razor, toothbrush, … It is a bit noisy, as the walls are very thin but if people are really loud you could just ask them nicely to keep it down or go to the reception and ask them for help! The breakfast was very basic (a variety of toast, jam & butter, hot drinks such as tea and coffee) but we didn’t expect any so it was a nice surprise and very unusual for a hostel. The location is great! Very close to a metro station, as well as a couple of bus stops and big roads. A small conbini is right outside the door. Overall, it is a great hostel, especially for the price and I would highly recommend it!!!”

The two women in the reception were fantastic meally helpful with our questions and luggage forwarding. We wanted to shorten our stay with one night and it was no problem. Excellent location as well.” “This place is pretty much renting like an apartment room. Two large queen sized beds, tons of room, a small kitchen, and a bathroom with a separate toilet. Everything was clean, and had less people so it felt more like being at home than a hotel. A little unconventional since you have to probably take a picture of your codes in order to enter the room and hotel, but it made the experience different. Location might be the only issue. It is close to kiyomizudera but would have a harder time getting into the shopping areas since it's not as walkable.”

We enjoyed the minimal design of the room. Having two breakfast coupons was really convenient and the breakfast was very delicious. I would highly recommend it as a part of your stay. The customer service was definitely on point. We were given two Daruma souvenir dolls as a part of our reviewing process at the end of our stay. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway station.”

“This place is a must-go for architecture and history buffs, and you can tell they take great care in maintaining the houses. It’s mainly visited by locals and was not crowded even on a Sunday. Many of the traditional looms were used by members from a weaving society and it was a pleasure to see them work the old contraptions.” “so much to see! lots of english information. cute stamp activity for kids (or adults who want to do it, like me). it’s astonishing how these houses come from all over japan. very affordable entry at 550 yen, pay at door. so empty on a weekday at 3 pm. they have volunteers running hearth fires in the houses that end at 3 pm so i recommended going earlier (unlike me) to enjoy that experience.”
