“5 star EVERYTHING! One review I am able to give which is for a hotel absolutely flawless. The staff, friendly, helpful, happy and efficient not to mention extremely accommodating. The rooms, wow! They're massive, very clean, very well set up and we were even left gifts being it was our anniversary. The bathroom was something out of 5 star hotels and the beds super comfy and very big. The balcony was a great size and we had a great view! Room service was extremely cheap and fast and access to all the pools was a very big high point. For the price paid we were definitely not expecting that, 5 star hotel on a 2 star hotel budget, phenomenal 5 stars on every aspect. “Great little gem on the Gold Coast. What a find. We come down from Brisbane on a regular basis and always stay beachside. However, family live inland, so we thought we would try it out. The receptionist on check-in was so lovely. The room was great, and the air con was perfect. King size bed and pillow were perfect, and I am very fussy with that but had a great night's sleep. Car park is not covered by its free and there were plenty to choose from and only a short walk to the hotel. We were the only ones in the pool in the middle of the day Christmas week, which was surprising. My hubby and I are staying 2 weekends in a row, so we'll have another view next week. We will try breakfast next time. Great location, just off the highway so easy to get both north and south. Seriously, it's a great little hotel and reasonable pricing.” “Stayed the weekend here and it was great! We will be back. Clean, comfortable and well maintained property. They held a really cool event during the Commonwealth Games including large screens playing the action and live bands. A great tourist destination for shopping and great food from around Asia.” “This China town is small. Many of foreign cafes and mall. But not much chinese food and chinese theme shops around.”

The instructor will be coaching you the whole way. $99 for 1 minute of skydiving experience x 2 or $124 for 2 slightly longer sessions. $20 extra you get to have a taste of high flight.” “Such an amazing experience. The instructors are all big balls of sunshine and I’m really glad I decided to have a go. It was more affordable than I expected and overall an absolute blast. As someone who’s been skydiving, Ifly is a great alternative for those who want to experience free fall without jumping (or falling) 14000 ft from the sky.”

“There was a very insightful movie about bees playing in the mini theatre room inside the honey world. From the theatre, you exit into a big shop that is purely dedicated to honey! All kinds of honey and honey gifts. The best part is that we can taste all the honey we want!! ?” “A great stop over in or out of Coolangatta. If you're a lover of honey (yum yum) this is a great place to stop. With so many options of honey to choose from, having a great selection to taste from was awesome as well. The staff member was great, gave us some extra knowledge of other types of honeys and where they are from , she also gave us an extra taste of the honey lollies and there benefits with the different strengths.”

“A great experience for the holidays. Very informative & entertaining with Margie & Captain Lee. Loved all the kids each being able to drive when on the water & receive a certificate for their fun experience. Time given for parents to take photos as we are still cruising & sightseeing. Quite a lot packed into an hour, value for money, so worth it!” “This was a relatively cheap experience that the whole family can enjoy. The views were great and the commentary was interesting and entertaining. The section where children can drive was the highlight. A different way to spend an hour while down the coast. I couldn't fault a single part of the service.”

“Was a last minute booking and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. We booked while travelling, arrived late and left early, staff communicated well arranged everything we needed and the room was exceptional. Clean, modern and exactly what we needed. I would stay again just because she was so nice. Also great location with great restaurants and the beach is super close.”

“Nice comfortable stay near airport. The rooms are well maintained and presented well. The beach is within walking distance and the airport is at doorstep which makes for convenience but it does come with some noise although I didn't find that at issue with my stay. The outside lighting is very bright at night and no doubt for security for the cars which is great but I did find it a little distracting for sleep.” “I am absolutely furious with my recent stay at Airport Motel on 16/01/2025. My partner booked and paid for our accommodation in full through Booking.com, and yet, after our departure, he was hit with an unauthorized charge on his credit card. The motel claims that he smoked in the room and on the balcony, which is a complete LIE. We did no such thing during our stay, and I am certain the CCTV footage on site will prove that these accusations are completely baseless. What makes this situation even worse is that he was charged without any prior notice, consent, or valid evidence. We never agreed to any additional charges, especially based on a false claim. It’s incredibly disappointing and frustrating to be treated this way, especially when we followed all the procedures and paid in advance for my stay. I’m writing this post to warn others because I am more than sure that they do this every time. It’s obvious they know exactly who to target and take advantage of—two young migrant couples. They likely think we won’t make a big deal out of it, but it's unfair to be out $260 because of their LIES and DECEIT. Please, be cautious before booking here. If they can get away with this once, who knows how many other people they’ve wronged. This experience has been a huge frustration and has left me feeling deeply disrespected.”

“Please don’t waste your time and money. This place is so dirty , pool surrounded by animal poo .. Bed rooms and linens are dusty and dirty and all photos shown are misleading and the property isn’t no where near as good as shown:. So hot and no aircon or breeze..Container house .. Fans are broken and too slow .. You will be boiled at night :: Pool is a muddy mess and good luck walking around and messy surroundings.. You won’t get your bond back for sure ..: That means property owner wouldn’t reply for your concerns until last minute, no answer for a phone call but after you checkout they will create some reason to charge your bond.: Reason for charging will be like , exhausting their power ? Overusing their Pool and facilities ( lol ) There is no one single reason to stay in this place.. Looks like everything gone wrong at this place and poor management try to steel :: Will charge money from your account without any authority.. Please don’t go there at all…” “Location is great with lots to do and see in close proximity, we stayed in tree house 3, which had a good view and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the pool area was not inviting at all, definitely in need of a clean so we didn't use it. The bbq in tree house 3 was also not very clean for us when we arrived and the rear runner was not working. Finally once booked you are required to leave a $500 bond to gain access to you keys through a third party website.”

“We appreciated the early check-in, which was a welcome start to our 4 night stay. The pool was also a highlight—spacious and enjoyable, especially for our children, who had a great time. Compliments and thanks should also be extended to the housekeeping team who ensured our room was immaculately clean. However, overall the hotel is showing its age and could benefit from a full refurbishment. While spacious and private, our room felt dated with old furniture, the lounge was stained and the air conditioning system was broken - constantly pumping out cold air even when there monitor was set to off. Staff were prompt in responding when we raised concerns about this with an engineer sent quickly to assess the issue. However, we were advised that due to the hotel being at capacity, there was little that could be done. As a result, we had to rely on a bar heater to keep warm - not quite the 5-star experience advertised. The breakfast buffet was fine, but it was a surprise to be charged an extra $8 for an omelette, something typically included in the breakfast buffets at other premium hotel brands like Accor, Crown and Hyatt. The coffee at breakfast was unfortunately undrinkable, although perhaps we were just unlucky with the baristas during our stay. Overall, there were some enjoyable moments, but the experience didn’t quite live up to the hotel’s 5-star promise.” “My family and I visited the hotel almost 3 weeks ago which was a nice experience. The hotel is a little dated but the food was good and the pool was lovely. Sadly we were charged for the food on the cabana next to us and despite calling now 5 times and emailing 4 times to the relevant managers I am yet to see my refund. I keep getting promises that I will receive some communication and then crickets. Not good enough service for a 5 star hotel and I wouldn't stay here again.”

“stayed here for 4 days and beds, toilet, kitchen area and shower are clean however the aircon and fan on our room are very dusty. hopefully you clean those too. also concerned about the bedsheets and comforter because the only thing that they need you to bring in front desk is the pillowcase when you check out so not sure if they change bedsheets after every person. ⭐️staff in front desk was nice and explained every do's and dont's” “Pros: 1) Great location 2) Clean & lots of facilities (terrace, kitchen, cinema room, laundry, luggage storage) 3) Friendly staff & ran a free dinner night (food was excellent) 4) Exceptional value (I arrived in low season) 5) Seems newly renovated, has ample locker & storage space Negatives: 1) Choppy WiFi (I was on 4th floor and it seemed to cut out for 15 mins every 2-3 hours or so) 2) Rooms are a little bleak (ceiling window, can't see out to street at all) 3) The plugs are very irritating. Not only their placement (at bottom of bed) but also the on/off switch is above the socket, so my travel adapter essentially switches it off when it's pushed in. Had to find a pesky biting point each time which was frustrating & lead to devices not being charged properly”

“Stayed for 2 nights, spacious room for family of 3. The Bathroom looks a bit dated but was alright. The buffet has nice selections and tastes good, even have gluten free bread option for my son. The facilities and views are nice too. It's good stay if you have a car as its a bit of a drive to Surfers Paradise. Negative: Some of the power point in the room is not working and no lift for people with pram/disability if you got the top floor room. But, overall our stay were enjoyable and we will come back again for our next stay.” “This is a lovely resort, and we spent four wonderful nights here. The breakfast is generous, with a small change each day to keep things interesting. In the evenings, you can take a walk to the tennis courts and enjoy the peaceful starry sky, and one night, we even had the chance to see some wildlife. The only minor downside is that it’s a little further from the city, but it’s still quite manageable.”
