Scoot Unveils Exciting New Destinations: Phu Quoc, Padang, and Shantou

Scoot, the budget airline under Singapore Airlines, is taking off to three brand-new destinations! Starting this December and January, you can jet off to Phu Quoc (Vietnam), Padang (Indonesia), and Shantou (China), with flights already open for booking.

From 20 December 2024, escape to Phu Quoc’s tropical paradise, famous for its stunning beaches, rare wildlife, and UNESCO-listed national park. With a 30-day visa-free policy, it’s the ultimate getaway! Scoot will operate three weekly flights, increasing to five from January 2025.

Padang, the heart of West Sumatra, welcomes travellers from 6 January 2025. Known as the birthplace of Nasi Padang, it’s a foodie haven paired with rich Minangkabau culture and surf-worthy beaches. Scoot will fly four times weekly, making it easier than ever to explore this hidden gem.

Shantou, China, begins service on 16 January 2025. Dive into Chaoshan cuisine or enjoy cultural sites like Zhongshan Memorial Pavilion and Nan Ao Island’s gorgeous beaches. Scoot will operate three flights a week.

And there’s more! Scoot is ramping up flights to Jakarta, Koh Samui, Davao, and Vientiane, while fine-tuning its network for smoother journeys. Economy fares start at just RM269 to Padang, RM299 to Phu Quoc, and RM409 to Shantou, inclusive of taxes.
