[Updated 21 October 2021]

You might have seen a photo or two of this tall, fluffy pancakes online and thought, "Wow, doesn't this look yummy?" ? Well, friends, this beauty here is called a soufflé pancake. Yet another dessert originating from Japan (where this is known as the fuwa fuwa pancake), soufflé pancakes are a lighter, airier version of our traditional, dense pancakes. Just like the soufflé, this pancake is made with egg whites stiffly beaten until it rises. ?

While there are a limited number of cafes that serve this mouthwatering dessert in KL & Selangor, here's where you can find them ?
