Starting at RM1,500 per night, this hidden homestay can accommodate up to 16 people, which is great if you're planning a big family trip or weekend gathering with your friends. It won't hurt your wallet if you split the cost on your group trip.

If you prefer to bring yourself closer to nature, Rumah Kebun Camping Ground would also make a great spot to set up your tents. During the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) in Malaysia, they've reduced the capacity to 8 guests per camping site and recommend bringing your own tents (but they also provide tent rentals if you don't have any).

Remember to bring extra swimwear or clothes for the kids because they're likely to spend most of the time swimming in the river, which is a rare and fun experience for those growing up in the city.
