It's no secret that Penang is brimming with amazing halal eateries and wonderful cafes. From local delights to yummy desserts, you always end up on a foodie adventure here whether you realize it or not ? And just when you think there's more than enough to explore, there's always another great place to add to the ever growing list!

Rumah Kacha is a lovely halal glasshouse cafe located in Georgetown. To get here by public transportation, take the 11, 201, 203, 204 or 502 Rapid Penang Bus. But if you're coming from the city centre, it's only a 4-minute walk and sits just a few steps away from Gama Supermarket and Komtar Bus Terminal. This makes the cafe a perfect place for taking a break and having a nice meal once you've done a bit of exploring ?

P.S. While you're in Penang, don't miss out on these 12 Instagrammable spots (that aren't street art) nearby halal eateries.

Just as rustic looking as its exterior, the cosy and warm atmosphere of the cafe simply draws you in. Designed with plenty of wood and exposed brick, capturing your brunch #ootd is a must here! Combined with the plenty of natural sunlight streaming in, you can be guaranteed to snap some Insta-worthy shots that'll level up the aesthetics of your feed.

Tuck into the cafe's flavourful menu that offers a mixed variety of local and Western dishes. Serving mains, burgers and pastas, you can't go wrong with grilled lamb chop, honey mustard chicken burger and masak lemak cili api with prawns especially if you've worked up a big appetite. They also have lighter bites like grilled chicken salad and sticky Thai chicken glazed wings if you're not up for a full-on meal.
