Petaling Jaya is no stranger to many amazing cafes and restaurants. From tasty pastries and creamy mocha lattes to juicy steaks and delicious burgers, the list just goes on and on and for that we’re extremely grateful 😊
With plenty of delicious spots peppered across the city, you’ll never run out of eateries to try out! But here at HHWT, we always have room for one more especially when it comes to food 😁 So today, we’ll be shining the spotlight on the charming eatery that is Roti & Kopi House.
Making its debut in December 2019, you’ll find Roti & Kopi House nestled in the suburb of Damansara Uptown. The restaurant is located in an office tower, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Uptown 5 Tower where you can easily park in the basement carpark.
#HHWT Tip: If you can’t find parking in the basement of the tower, then make your way to Starling Mall and park there instead. Step out and walk around the corner until you see the tower up ahead of you.
Upon reaching the eatery, you’ll immediately be greeted with an expansive wall adorned with the name of the cafe, colourful plants and an image of a tiger - nicely representing Malaysia’s national animal 😄 Practically made to be an Insta-worthy spot, make sure you snap a cool picture here before you enter the restaurant (or after your meal)!

Beyond its entrance, Roti & Kopi House continues to charm with a bright and airy space that boasts of high ceilings and lovely wood decor. The restaurant occupies two floors - the lower ground that's perfect for kicking it back while enjoying the beautiful interior and the upper floor for those wanting a little more privacy. Either way, you'll still be in for a good time here 😊
Known for their unique menu that puts a twist on local delights, start off your meal with the Roti Tiger - a special on the menu which is toasted wholemeal bread with cheese. Take the flavours to the next level by ordering it with a mix of various fillings and spreads such as cheese and roasted almond with butter and kaya or the one with chocolate and peanut butter. Also
offering other kinds of toast such as rendang beef toast, nasi lemak toast and kam heong chicken toast, you can say goodbye to plain ol' breakfasts. P.S. Skip the local flavours and savour authentic Japanese ramen at this halal-certified eatery in Uptown Damansara instead.
Need something a little heavier? Well, then you should give their signature dish a whirl - the Nasi Lemak Harimau. Dig into the wonderful combination of special ayam berempah, otak serai, blue coconut rice along with the usual suspects of roasted peanuts, ikan bilis and cucumber. If you're looking for a complete meal, then opt for their lunch set which is served with a main dish, a drink and fruits 🙂
