5 Easy Instant Noodles Recipe To Try For Iftar This Ramadan 2022

1. Aglio Olio

Ever tried your favourite Italian pasta with instant noodles? It’s time to check out this recipe! Using KOKA Aglio Olio Purple Wheat Noodles, which cook in only 2 minutes for a chewy, delicious texture, this recipe is easy to make for busy iftar meals! ? It only uses five ingredients: garlic, olive oil, chilli flakes or chilli padi, parsley and shrimps. If you have a long day at work, and you’re barely in time to break your fast, this spaghetti aglio olio will save your time. Also, purple is set to be the ‘it’ colour of 2022, so you’re on track ?

Preparation time: 8 mins

Cooking time: 7 mins

Feeds: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 2 packets of KOKA Aglio Olio Purple Wheat Noodles
  • 5-10 shrimps, peeled and deveined (Alternatively, you can use pre-cooked shrimps for greater convenience.)
  • 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes OR chopped red chilli padi
  • 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon of freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  • Cook KOKA Aglio Oli Purple Wheat Noodles in boiling water for 2~3 minutes.
  • Empty seasoning power and oil sachet into a plate. Mix powder and oil together.
  • Drain noodles and place into plate with seasoning mix. Mix noodle with seasoning evenly and set aside. 
  • Heat a pan on medium heat and add olive oil.
  • Fry chopped garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, add shrimps and chopped chilli padi and fry for 2~3 minutes.
  • Toss the cooked shrimps into the noodles and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Enjoy!

2. Thai Noodle Salad

If you want to break fast with a light meal that could still last you till tarawih at least, then this Thai Noodle Salad will be your choice ? It is so refreshing and satisfying, balancing all of the flavours we love in Thai food- sweet, sour, savoury, and spicy ? It truly is the perfect comforting meal after a day of fasting. Moreover, this recipe is vegan-friendly, and adds on mangoes for a healthier take! ?

Preparation time: 10 mins

Cooking time: 5 mins

Feeds: 2 people

Ingredients

Instructions:

  • Cook KOKA Purple Wheat Chilli and Lime Noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  • Empty seasoning power and oil sachet into a plate. Mix powder and oil into a paste.
  • Drain noodles and mix it evenly with seasoning paste.
  • Toss in mango strips and cut chilli. 
  • Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top of the noodle and serve.

What’s even better is that it’s spicier, cheesier and even healthier because it has No MSG, No Preservatives and No Artificial Colouring! ?

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Feeds: 1 or 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet KOKA Signature Curry Noodles
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 3 red chilli stalks, diced
  • 6 – 8 stalks of local celery, finely chopped
  • 120g minced beef
  • 3 eggs
  • 50g of Parmesan cheese (or as much as your heart desire)
  • 5 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Pinch of salt and pepper for the minced beef

Instructions:

  • Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil in a skillet. Sauté the minced beef and season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until browned and then set it aside to cool.
  • In the same skillet, sauté diced onions and chilli until onions soften and turn a golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  • Cook the KOKA Signature Curry Noodles in 250ml of boiling water for exactly two minutes. Do not add the Curry seasoning. Drain, and let the noodles cool.
  • In a bowl, whisk 3 eggs until light and frothy. Add in minced beef, onions, red chilli, celery, and KOKA Signature Curry noodles. Sprinkle in one packet of noodle seasoning and mix everything together until well-combined.
  • In a skillet, heat up 3 tablespoons of oil over low heat. Place ring mould in the centre. With a pair of tongs, fill the mould with the egg-noodles-beef mixture and let cook for 5 minutes on each side. Remember to remove the ring mould before flipping over the murtabak.
  • Serve as is or with a favourite curry of your choice.

4. Cheese ramen

  • Oil the pan and fry spinach until half cooked and set aside.

  • Drain noodle well and transfer to plate.

Ingredients
