Ramadan 2023 is here ? Not only is the month a period of worship and piety for every Muslim around the world, it is also time for the popular and exciting Ramadan Bazaars! In Singapore, Ramadan Bazaars are a must-visit for locals, regardless of their ethnicity or religion! Often running from early afternoons to late at night, it’s the perfect place to enjoy delicious street food, get yourself a set of Baju Kurung and more!

Whether you’re a local, or you’re travelling to Singapore to bask in the high spirits of Ramadan, you have to check out these 9 Ramadan bazaars in Singapore.

1. Geylang Serai

If you've missed the bustling Ramadan Bazaar, you'll be glad to know that they're back and better! This year's Ramadan Bazaar will be the longest-running bazaar (36 days in total!) with more than 700 stalls stretching from Geylang Serai Market to Tanjong Katong Complex. You can look forward to an array of festive food, clothes, and other Raya goodies! There are even art installations plastered around, so don't forget to take a look and shoot some photos.

The bazaar is expected to start on 17 March and end on 21 April 2023, with opening hours from 10 am to midnight. A whole month of shopping and celebrations!

2. LalooLalang Raya Pop-Up Bazaar in Kampong Glam

Yet to buy your baju kurung? Then head to Laloolalang's Raya Pop-up bazaar! Located in the heart of Kampung Glam, this bazaar will feature 50 vendors, ranging from fashion to food. Visiting the bazaar in Kampung Glam is always enjoyable as there is plenty of halal food around the area, whether you order takeout or dine in for iftar!

3. Twilight Flea & Feast Ramadan Bazaar

Looking to satisfy your craving for street food? Head down to Twilight Flea & Feast Ramadan Bazaar at Downtown East! From 13 – 16 April 2023, you can look forward to a variety of Muslim-owned and halal vendors, as well as inclusive brands that sell clothing, accessories, and even children's toys! For those planning to visit with your kids, keep an eye out for kid-friendly activities such as face painting.

4. Eid Souk

Eid Souk by Mashal Abaya is happening from 6-9 April 2023! This year, the bazaar will have vendors selling all sorts of skincare and beauty products, plus gorgeous hijabs and Baju Kurungs!

5. Curbside Crafters

From end of March to April 2023, head over to Kampong Glam to enjoy the bazaar at Curbside Crafters! Be greeted by rows of booths manned by local businesses selling their very own handmade crafts: from earrings that’ll match your Raya outfits to handcrafted pouches, you’ll be walking away with unique buys and everything you need for Ramadan and Raya this 2023.

If travelling far is not for you, then why not head to your neighbourhood bazaars?

6. Tampines Bazaar

The Tampines Bazaar is held at Tampines N2 Shopping Street and will be there until 6 April 2023! You can expect to see the neighbourhood centre nicely decorated with bright colours for Ramadan and Hari Raya. There's even a nice alfresco dining area where you can enjoy your food with your loved ones ?

If you plan to head down, you should try the Banana Cheese Crispy that comes in a variety of flavour including Banana Cheese, Banana Cheese Nutella, and Jemput-Jemput Banana! The stall also sells delicious Tahu Crispy, so don't forget to get them ?

You can also find Oriental Corner Malaya Street which sells a range of Malaya Street food such as Kwayteow Goreng, Macau Fried Noodles, and Nasi Kuning Belawan ?

7. Jurong West Bazaar

Another iconic place to get your bazaar food is Jurong West! From now until 19 April 2023, you can expect an array of traditional Malay and modern cuisine, including Nasi Arab Mandi, Ayam Percik, and Roti Boyan ? You can even get your favourite Air Katira with flavours ranging from Pandan to Bandung!

8. Woodlands Bazaar

From now until 10 April, you can find this bazaar located near Admiralty MRT, which is super convenient to get your bazaar food! You can find stalls ranging from Bo-Geh, which sells fried food like Pisang Goreng and Epok Epok, to Pak Din's delicious Nasi Ayam Bakar ?

9. Punggol Bazaar

From now until 20 April 2023, those living near and around Punggol can enjoy your favourite bazaar food! You can get the iconic Ramly Burger, Apam Balik, and Prawn Vadai ? Need something to cool down? Try the Original Charcoal Cone! The store even has Honeycomb Waffle Bowl Ice Cream and a regular Waffle Bowl ?
