Jalan Mayang Pasir 2, Bandar Bayan Baru, 11900 Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia
One of the most comfortable place for Muslims around Bayan Baru to pray. It is well equipped with air conditioners and big ceiling fans during fardhu prayers. However, the place to take the wudhu is very wet and the drain is not big enough to manage the flow of water used by the people. It is slippery for visitors as it is located near to the entrance.
What a nice masjid with spacious prayer hall. More toilets are provided. The masjid has toilet, ramp and parking lot for OKU. Its totally OKU friendly. These are tips from me. There is a lot of park bench if you want to have your meal or wait while other members finishing their solat. Keep in mind to plan your travelling time, so you can park in masjid compound and not on the road side which is dangerous and may block the traffic in that area. Parking lot is available during prayers (solat) time. Make sure to park your car reverse position. This is friendly reminder from masjid administrator.
The second time ive been here in a 12 years. The masjod has already been expanded to accommodate more muslimin and muslimat. Bathroom and wudhuk area is sparking clean. Located at an easy to find spot. Park your car in a reverse position to make it easier for you to leave the spot and ease the traffic within the compound. Please do not feed the cats in the area. If you want to feed the cats, feed it beyond the Masjid's fence or wall. Theres table and benches on the north side of the masjid. This place serves a good place for visitors to wait for their other members, kids could run around safely underthe watchful eye of their guardian or sibling. Also for muslimah waiting area as women having their time od the month are not allowed tto enter the masjid's solat hall. Solat hall indoor and outdoors are surprisingly well ventilated. It is cool, windy and soothes the soul. ? Met Hj Hashim there. One of the friendly locals who is warm and give you guidance on the amnities surrounding the masjid. May Allah bless his kind heart.
MashaAllaah another beautiful masjid in Penang. It's close to the USM. Very large masjid, specious prayer area, ample parking and there's a small park just beside the compound where kids can play. Alhamdulillah I went there for Fajr prayer, jazakAllaah khayer to the community and maintainers.
I went there for iftar and I had a nice time there. The mosque has many entrances so you can enter easily. The bazaar here is quite lively, lots of dishes that may interest you. They do 20+3 rakaat here, and the imam's recitation was beautiful.
