The prayer rooms are situated inside the departure hall. After passing through the emigration check, turn left and search for Barista cafe. Behind the cafe you will find the prayer rooms (separeted rooms for men and women). There is no particular place to make wudu but there is a toilet nearby. Enjoy! :)

Between Barista & Rancrisp Cashew shop. Male & Female prayer rooms available. It's hard to find

There are both male and female prayer rooms available at this one and only prayer place in Sri Lanka's international airport, which is situated between the Barista and Rancrisp Cashew shops. There is also an ablution station on the back side of this place. There is constant talk about this location being taken out because it isn't being used by passengers, but we're not sure if that is true or not. Despite this, the location is used by the numerous local and foreign travelers as well as the airport employees.

Please make use of these prayer rooms on your departure. If not the time for prayers, at least 2 sunnah prayers for a save journey. Separate areas allocated for men and women. Washrooms are on the other side, where there is a tray to wash your feet as well. The ladies prayer room is clean, has mats, qurans and chairs. Would recommend it, it is clean and peaceful. Located as you pass Burger King, after immigration. On to your left and straight. Look for Barista and Ran Crisp.
