2 Serangoon North Ave. 2, Singapore 555876
Nice and peaceful mosque. Bayan is usually in Malay.
Masya Allah. What a fantastic & blessed mosque that is serving the Serangoon North/Hougang residential neighbourhood. It really has a good community vibe about it and the volunteers there make you feel very welcome. The prayer hall itself is really large and comfortable for you to perform your prayers in. I’d return more if I stayed nearer to the area! In Syaa Allah. For drivers, do park at the HDB carpark located opposite the mosque along Serangoon North Ave 2 (Blks 135-141). There are plenty of street level parking lots available.
Its like stairway to heaven. The peace and atmosphere is quite out of place as the road is just beside the mosque about 3metres away. A no way you cant hear the road noise but nevertheless it does gives you tranquility at some point. Of course when the traffic lights hold the road measures.
At one glance, the masjid blends the architectural flavours of buildings in the Middle East, Nusantra and Mauritius. Its structure stands proudly amidst the housing estate in Serangoon. One of the newest masjids under the Mosque Building Fund, it was completed in May 1999 and can accommodate up to 3300 people at any given time. How to get there Bus Services: 25, 55, 74, 76, 132, 165, 315, 511, 169, 853 Nearest MRT Station: KOVAN.
