MashaAllah great Masjid Al-Imam Al-Albani; one of the greatest Imam/scholar. The Wudu area is downstairs with 5 taps and 3 bathrooms. Extra pray area in basement.
This Masjid is a gem within the City of New York, if not the whole of America. Daily Islamic Classes from Magrib to Isha held by Shaykh Abu Dujanah Ibn Hujjaj, who was the student of Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hadi Al-Wadi'ie. The Masjid and Shaykh have a high respect and implementation of the Quran and Sunnah. Also very clean and comfortable Masjid. The brothers there are very welcoming. Everyone should attend the classes and gain the knowledge.
Very welcoming and well kept. Zazak Allah Khair! Come pray my brothers and sisters! I ask the masjid community to make space for the sisters to pray. Even if it’s a little space. Please do not deny them.
MashaAllah very good Masjid the brothers there and the shaykh are all good mannered and friendly and eager to help, the shaykh gives great lessons and one of the brothers translates. The bad reviews are people mostly being mad about the Shaykh telling them to raise the pants above the ankles or things of this nature, this is something which the Prophet Salallahu Alaihi Wassalam prohibited (garment going under the ankles and covering them) so how can you be upset for the Imam of a masjid telling you something from Islam SubhanAllah. And also they give decent amount of time to pray fardh salah by yourself if you miss congregation but people cannot expect the doors to be open all the time as almost all masjids are closed when its not salah time here in America due to the security issues of crazy people trying to do things.
