What a historic sites for the Koreans persecuted for theirs faith It located beautifully next to the Han River that flowing thru this area. Beautiful church and status around the this place. There are many valuable information for the faithful to think about the history.

Where do I start! My visiting friend had as yet been unable to attend Mass. Being a Sunday, I took him to the chapel at this shrine —on the advice of another friend who said that there would be a 3 pm Mass there. I —having already attended Mass— left my friend at the chapel and took a walk around. The whole layout is an ode to the Christian/Catholic faith in Korea. The museum there held details of their history... very touching, evocatively drawing passion and a resolution to live better my faith —inwardly and expressively; better union with the Cross. The grounds are great too. Good for meditative prayer. Also, one can learn a lot from the art and guided tours around. I saw families with little children taking them around the sculptures —all about Christian themes and sacrifice— explaining to them and, many times, simply relaxing in a healthy way. It goes without saying that I found it a great place to visit and strong recommend it to everyone.

A must-visit for Christian Pilgrims✝️which reminded Modern Christians to understand these French Catholics paved the way for the following Modern Christians. How heavy sacrifices did these French Catholic Christians suffer even be brutally headed, during Joseon Dynasty in Korean History!
