The woman section is very tiny, and when it gets packed e.g lo on a Saturday/ Friday night , the woman pray the hallway and there are no AC and it gets really hot. Beautiful recitation by the sheikh ?.

I’ve heard so much about this mosque over the years, but I never had the chance to visit it. Recently, when I found myself in East London with some free time, I knew I had to make the trip. Something about this masjid was calling me, and SubhanAllah, I’m so glad I listened to that call. Upon arrival, I was completely taken aback. Nestled within a housing estate, this modern, purpose-built masjid felt like an unexpected oasis. To clarify, I’m not implying the estate is rundown, but you simply wouldn’t expect to find such a stunning masjid tucked away in such a location. It’s unlike anything I’ve seen in other estates, where you might find a small community center or hall serving as a prayer space. This masjid stood out, beautifully designed and full of character. The interior was equally breathtaking. With its modern decor and comfortable carpets, it was a space that immediately inspired tranquility and focus. I visited during Maghrib prayer, just before the Christmas holiday period. The congregation wasn’t packed, but it was well attended, with the front rows filled by our respected elders. I was fortunate to find a spot in the front row, close to the imam, which I always strive for, as it feels spiritually uplifting. While it’s natural for a stranger to attract some curious glances in a new masjid, I didn’t feel out of place at all. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, Alhamdulillah, and the entire experience left me feeling deeply content and connected. This masjid is truly a hidden gem, and I pray that Allah (SWT) protects and preserves this beautiful house of worship for generations to come. Dua: May Allah (SWT) bless this masjid abundantly, make it a beacon of guidance and light for the community, and grant everyone who attends it the peace and blessings they seek. May Allah (SWT) protect it from all harm, preserve it as a place of ibadah and unity, and continue to fill it with the remembrance of Him. Ameen.
