So, pack a picnic, put on your sunscreen and get ready to have some fun!

1. National Science Centre

There is more than one playground at the National Science Centre and it incorporates science and learning with play. For example, the “Whispering Dome” allows you to hear when someone speaks from the other side. There is also a climbing wall where your kids can defy gravity and learn coordination!

How can we write a listicle about outdoor playgrounds without mentioning the famous KLCC Park? The park had been the playground for many young Malaysians and continues to be one of the best spots for children who are bored from following their parents shopping around. There are swings, slides and even a wading pool to cool off, so be sure to bring a change of clothes!

4. Xploria, Bandar Gamuda Gardens

There’s more to Xploria than just a playground. There are nature walks, a waterpark and a two-storey slide that will get your kids excited! The playground doesn’t have just slides and swings, there are also zipline and rock climbing elements.

Getting to the playground requires a little bit of walking as it’s located on the other side of the lake from the parking lot. But, trust us, the walk is worth it! The spaceship-like playground is perfect for little kiddos to burn their energy off. There’s also a water play area, so be sure to bring a change of clothes!
