Even though Singapore is currently in Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), you can still visit amazing attractions like Gardens by the Bay. If you love flowers, Gardens by the Bay's latest exhibit will excite you! Orchid Haven at Gardens by the Bay is a new orchid-themed exhibition at the gardens. Always wondering what to do at Gardens by the Bay? You'll be thrilled to know that the space will have more than 1000 orchids in permanent orchid exhibits as well as changing displays. Our Tribes by HHWT member, Farhana Ayu visited the first display, Flight of the Moth Orchid and shares with us her experience.
Orchid Haven at Cloud Forest, Gardens by the Bay
Flight of the Moth Orchid is a breathtaking 'waterfall' display of cascading Orchid blooms at Orchid Haven - Cloud Forest at Gardens By The Bay which opened on 30 July 2021!
We were treated to a huge stunning plethora of more than 800 Phalaenopsis orchids of 17 taxa in this new orchid display. The Phalaenopsis orchids' floral form resemble moths in flight and hence, that's where the exhibit got its name.
It was a feast to our eyes to see all the bright colours, unique breeds & floral mutations of The Phalaenopsis Orchids. If you're an orchid lover, you'd appreciate the varying patterns and stunning varieties of orchids.
This is definitely the perfect place to spend your time during Singapore's 56th Birthday Month and also to celebrate the Singapore Spirit!
If you have spare time, I recommend that you head over to the Flower Dome to experience the Dale Chihuly Glass in Bloom showcase too. It's been extended till 31 October 2021. It's gorgeous at night with the lights and the flowery scent is stronger here too.
