If you’re worried about how complicated it is to make beef noodles, fret not as KITH Low-Sugar Rice Cooker is your best friend! The rice cooker can be used to cook the noodles and it’s fuss-free.

Ingredients:

  • Flat noodles enough for 2-3 servings
  • 2 heads baby bok choy, leaves separated and washed

For the ox tail broth:

  • 4 star anise pods
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp white peppercorns
  • 3 pounds beef soup bones
  • 1 head garlic, cloves smashed
  • 1 tsp fine salt

For the beef chuck:

  • 300 gms beef shank meat, or chuck, cut into cubes
  • 10 slices ginger
  • 8 medium green onions, cut into thirds
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 carrot, diced
  • 2 onions
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp spicy bean paste
  • 1.5 tbsp cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

Optional dressings:

  • Chopped chilli
  • Spring onions

Directions:

  1. In a pot of boiling water, add some ginger slices. Add in the oxtail. Boil for about 5 minutes. Discard ginger and water.
  2. Pack all the spices (star anise, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, black peppercorns, and white peppercorns) in a filter bag and seal. Add the ox tail, garlic, and spice sachet to the pot. Add and bring the water to a boil. Set the cooking mode to “Soup” on KITH Low-Sugar Rice Cooker. Allow it to boil for 2 hours then change the cooking mode to “Slow Cook”.
  3. Fry the aromatics (onion, spring onion, carrot) with 1 tablespoon of oil on a hot pan until the onions are browned. Brown the beef chuck for a quick 3 minutes. Add the spicy bean paste, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and sugar. Lightly stir fry until the sauces are well-coated on the meat, leaving the beef chuck with a nice pink blush.
  4. Add the browned beef chuck and aromatics into KITH Low-Sugar Rice Cooker, making sure that it is on cooking mode "Warm".
  5. Prepare your noodles according to the package instructions and boil the bok choy in a pot of hot water.
  6. Assemble your beef noodle soup by placing the beef chuck, bok choy, carrot cubes, garlic and noodles in a bowl. Garnish with spring onions and chopped chilli.

  • 1 cup of Korean rice
  • Halal rice vinegar
  • Sesame oil
  • 150 grams of beef, thinly sliced/minced/chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of spinach leaf, thinly sliced
  • 100 grams of beansprouts boiled
  • 100 grams of cucumber boiled, sliced
  • 100 grams of carrots, thin and finely sliced

Garnish:

  • 3 tablespoons of finely chopped kimchi,
  • 1 pc of long hot green pepper, thinly sliced

Roasted sesame oil:

  • Korean chilli pastes/Korean bean paste
  • Finely chopped scallions and sesame seeds for garnish

Directions:

  1. For about 10 minutes by using the slow cook (Steaming) function, cook up the spinach in the KITH 17-In-1 Multifunctional Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer until tender, Season with sesame oil, rice vinegar and salt.
  2. For 10 minutes, add in the minced beef with salt and pepper and steam through.
  3. Continue to cook with the slow cook function, stir in sliced green peppers and finely chopped kimchi.
  4. Drizzle 2 teaspoons of sesame oil over the rice and gently break eggs on top, placing one on each side of the cooker. For 5 minutes cover and set the cooker on (quick cook) function.

  7. Boil the beansprouts, sliced cucumber and thinly sliced carrots for 3 minutes and top it off together with finely chopped scallions & sesame seeds for garnish

Ingredients:

  • 400g salmon
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 20g of butter
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1tbsp of grated lemon zest
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Season salmon on both sides with sea salt and black pepper, add 1 tsp of grated lemon zest, and squeeze 1 lemon (adjust to taste)
  2. Preheat the KITH Smokeless BBQ Grill (Knob Control) to 280°C for 5 minutes and drop your butter into the frying pan. Keep swirling and stirring to prevent splatter until it starts to turn light brown and the bits of butter solids turn brown (about 3-7 minutes depending on your heat)
  3. Then, place your seasoned salmon onto the frying pan and cook the first side for around 7 minutes until golden brown and then flip the salmon and cook another 3 minutes or until flaky and fully cooked through with medium heat
  4. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, add 1 tsp lemon zest and the lemon juice into the frying pan.
  5. Lastly, transfer the salmon to a plate and sprinkle the cooked salmon with freshly chopped parsley and more black pepper to taste.
