Nusakuya is a floating resort located off the coast of Semporna. Surrounded by beautiful azure waters, the resort started operating just late last year. While the resort had to close temporarily last year due to the pandemic, it has now reopened for business and is accepting guests again. And who wouldn't want to go to a place like this? ?
Given the resort's remote location, similar to other island resorts in the area, Nusakuya offers an all-in stay package for guests, including meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), boat transfer to and from Semporna jetty and snorkelling equipment. There are also optional add-ons such as airport transfer from Tawau to the jetty, a barbecue meal, or you can also make special arrangements (such as meals delivered to your chalet) at extra charge.
The floating chalets at Nusakuya range between a double room (for 2 people) or a triple room (for 3 people). Each room comes with a balcony and a staircase that descends right into the sea!
Based on our checks with the resort, rates are currently going from RM900 per night for a double room and from RM1,500 for a triple room for a 2D1N stay (including meals, boat transfer, and snorkelling equipment). You get slight discounts if you a book a longer stay - 3D2N stays are RM2,000 (double room) and RM2,600 (triple room), while 4D3N stays are RM3,100 and RM3,800 respectively.
