As a huge Nintendo fan, this was exciting news to me! We've all seen the goodies that you can grab from the Nintendo Shop in Japan and I've always wanted to cop some of them myself. Fans of Nintendo games can finally grab some of the adorable merchandise for their favourite franchises this year as Nintendo sets up shop in Singapore. Here's all the information you need for the upcoming event!

Where and when is it?

This is a limited-time pop-up store that will be held from 17 November 2023 to 1 January 2024 at Level 4 of Jewel Changi Airport! So, if you're having a long layover in Singapore, you can drop by and peruse the merchandise there!

What's available?

Exclusive merchandise that could only be found at Nintendo Tokyo, Nintendo Osaka and Nintendo Kyoto will be made available during this event! The franchises that will be available at this event are:

  • Super Mario
  • Animal Crossing
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Splatoon
  • Pikmin

Animal Crossing has an adorable line of kitchen tools such as an electric kettle and a pot for sale! If you've played any of the Animal Crossing games such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can grab some aesthetically pleasing merchandise here! The apron and tea towel fits the homey theme that Animal Crossing is known for (or not, depending on how you've decorated your island). If you want something smaller, they also have pins, notebooks and even paper weights that you can grab too! I wonder if they'll have the coffee grinder from Brewster's 'The Roost' for sale too...

If you're a fan of the Legend of Zelda franchise and played games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild or their latest addition, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, you'll have fun perusing the collection! They have notebooks, posters and clothes, even business attire like ties. They even have pins like the Master Sword pin. I'm personally hoping for the Lon Lon Milk keychain to be available at the store (fingers crossed)! If you need a new towel, you can grab a Legend of Zelda bath towel at the event too.

We can't forget Nintendo's mascot: Mario (and Luigi). If you're a huge fan of the franchise such as Mario Kart, Mario Sunshine, and the plethora of other Mario games, you'll be delighted by the merchandise available here! Both functional and on brand, they have salt and pepper shakers shaped like the mushrooms from Super Mario, as well as other dishware that also features Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad!

There are also some extra items that you can get at the pop-up store. One of which is receiving 1 of the 6 specially designed postcards that Nintendo has made, which are exclusive to Singapore only! They are limited to shoppers who purchase merchandise totalling $80 or more!

Additionally, if you have a Nintendo account, you can check in at the event to receive 1 of the 18 sticker designs they have available! The stickers are random, and you can only check in once per day. They range from the mascot, Mario from Super Mario, to Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda. There's also Tom Nook with Timmy and Tommy pushing a cart with K. K Slider on it. You can check out all the designs they have here!

To redeem it, log-in to your account and check-in by displaying the QR code shown to the tablets located at the store's entrance. A staff will verify and pass you a random sticker! This will end as soon as stock runs out!

You don't have to travel all the way to Japan to grab these merchandise now! So head down to the pop-up store and grab the goodies that you've always wanted. Click here to find out more!
