Kyoto's popular coffee shop, % Arabica Coffee has just announced that it's finally opening its doors next week. With over 30 outlets in 10 countries, there was a lot of hype a few months ago when they announced that they were coming to Singapore. And coffee fans have been waiting eagerly in anticipation.

Soon you can get your hands on a cup of their aromatic coffee! Here's a sneak peek of their store at 56 Arab St - right in the heart of the Kampong Glam district ?

Now you must be wondering what is it about this coffee shop that's got coffee lovers queuing up for their coffee. For one, their Head Barista and co-founder Junichi Yamaguchi was once a Latte Art World Champion! But perhaps what sets it apart from other coffee shops is the coffee experience.

Did you know that they have their own coffee farm in Hawaii and other places like Ethiopia and Guatemala? As if this isn't impressive enough, you can select your own coffee beans and it'll be freshly roasted on the spot for you! This is something that you can't get at many other coffee shops out there. You can also request for a single origin or blended coffee too ?

At Arabica, the menu might be simple with mainly Espresso, Macchiato, Caffe Latte and Americano but one sip and you can possibly taste the depth and richness of the coffee ?

Even if you're not a coffee drinker, you can have their other drinks like Matcha Latte and Lemonade. Plus, it's aesthetic interior should be enough to lure you in! With its white tabletops and sleek coffee machines, everything about % Arabica screams hipster. Not to mention that their signature "%" sign is printed everywhere from their cups to coffee machines and even their mats - it's tastefully decorated and perfect for the 'gram ?

So, do keep a lookout for % Arabica's opening date sometime next week and head over for a coffee run when it opens. If you're heading here with friends, be sure to match your outfits and take some Insta-worthy photos! What's more, they are also planning to open outlets at Holland Village, 313@Somerset and even in Malaysia too (next year), so there's definitely a lot to look forward to.

Halal status: The coffee at Arabica does not contain alcohol. They do plan to sell some croissants but we are unable to verify its halal status. We advise you to visit at your own discretion.

Address: 56 Arab St, Singapore 199753

Opening hours: to be confirmed

Do keep a lookout on their Facebook and Instagram pages!
