Stunning beaches, spectacular shows, breath-taking sceneries, tasty food, all night and all day. These are some of the things you can expect to experience in one of the most famous islands in the world, Phuket.

Accessible by air, sea and land, it’s never too much of an effort to get there. One can also never have too little or too much money to enjoy their stay in the largest island Thailand has to offer. From budget backpacking to lavish high end waterfront villas, Phuket certainly has it all.

Even after the devastating 2004 tragedy which ravaged most of the west coastal areas, it evidently took only a few months for life to resume back to normal and put the tsunami episode behind. Nowadays, with better equipped prevention and warning systems, life seems to be bustling back more than ever.

Nobody can resist a good beach vacation ?⛱

There's always one on the island to suit your mood any time of the day! These names are just a handful from the stunning number of beaches accessible at both east and west coasts of the island.

Truly a one-of-its kind theme park. For one, it only opens at night and is dubbed as the ultimate night time cultural theme park. Watch elephants dance in its world famous show. Marvel at the amazing lights adorning the brilliant architectures and enjoy the fun games available in this experience like no other.

3. Phang Nga Bay

Of glorious limestones, islets and emerald waters, this is one place you should never miss should you find yourself in Phuket. A day trip by boat, exploring this absolute treasure of God’s creation will certainly make you feel many ways indescribable by words.

Whenever out of your comfort zone and looking for halal food, a good Indian or Arabic dish can never do you wrong. Casablanca offers you one of the best you can find in Phuket. Granted, it’s a bit pricey being part of the Royal Wing of the Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa. My advice is, some dining experiences are worth it, and this is surely one of it.

Like most other places, you can expect Briyani Rice, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tandoori and the sort. However, unlike other places, the food is first class.

Address: Casablanca at The Royal Paradise Hotel, 135/23 Rat-U-Thit Road, Patong

Opening Hours: 11:00 – 23:00 (Everyday)

Halal food isn't difficult to find in Phuket, and you're bound to bump into more while you're there. Phuket has at least 50 mosques, with many surrounded by halal restaurants. The largest Muslim community on the island can be found in the Patong Beach area, which is also the most famous resort town on Phuket's west coast!

All in all, if you ever have a chance or thought to explore Phuket, please do yourself a favour and just go. There are always things to do or explore even on the fifth time (personal experience) which still makes you want it more. Perfect for romantic getaways, backpacking wanderlusters and even family vacations, be sure to explore the whole island.
