Stunning beaches, spectacular shows, breath-taking sceneries, tasty food, all night and all day. These are some of the things you can expect to experience in one of the most famous islands in the world, Phuket.
Accessible by air, sea and land, it’s never too much of an effort to get there. One can also never have too little or too much money to enjoy their stay in the largest island Thailand has to offer. From budget backpacking to lavish high end waterfront villas, Phuket certainly has it all.
Even after the devastating 2004 tragedy which ravaged most of the west coastal areas, it evidently took only a few months for life to resume back to normal and put the tsunami episode behind. Nowadays, with better equipped prevention and warning systems, life seems to be bustling back more than ever.
Nobody can resist a good beach vacation 😎⛱

Set your budget and dine away, be it cheap fried rice by the beach or seafood served at a fancy restaurant.

2. Kusuma Halal Thai Seafood
Located right smack in the middle of Patong (where it all happens), Kusuma has always been the go-to spot whenever any local is asked on where the best halal food is. Serving authentic Thai, Malaysian and other seafood dishes, having a hearty meal here would not cost a bomb. Not to mention, together with it comes the famous Thai hospitality – friendly and helpful staff as well as owners.
Personally handpick fresh seabass, mussels, crabs and even lobsters for them to prepare as you please. Also, it goes without saying that you need to try the Tom Yam… as you should do wherever you are in Thailand.

3. Casablanca Restaurant
[caption id="attachment_10382" align="alignnone" width="1230"]
Poolside dining at its best[/caption]
Whenever out of your comfort zone and looking for halal food, a good Indian or Arabic dish can never do you wrong. Casablanca offers you one of the best you can find in Phuket. Granted, it’s a bit pricey being part of the Royal Wing of the Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa. My advice is, some dining experiences are worth it, and this is surely one of it.
Like most other places, you can expect Briyani Rice, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tandoori and the sort. However, unlike other places, the food is first class.

Halal food isn't difficult to find in Phuket, and you're bound to bump into more while you're there. Phuket has at least 50 mosques, with many surrounded by halal restaurants. The largest Muslim community on the island can be found in the Patong Beach area, which is also the most
famous resort town on Phuket's west coast![Thinking of heading to Krabi instead? Here's 6 reasons to check Krabi out!]
All in all, if you ever have a chance or thought to explore Phuket, please do yourself a favour and just go. There are always things to do or explore even on the fifth time (personal experience) which still makes you want it more. Perfect for romantic getaways, backpacking wanderlusters and even family vacations, be sure to explore the whole island.
