If you're a fan of yummy and flaky pastry, Mother Dough Bakery
will surely be a familiar name to you. The artisanal bakery is known for its sourdough, baguettes, quiche and more. We've got some great news! Mother Dough Bakery has reopened at a new spot in Kampong Gelam - Jln Kledek. Just a short walk away from their previous outlet, the new spot will have a dine-in area on the second floor so you can hang out with loved ones while enjoying your pastries.
We had a little chat with the owner and confirmed that there will be a dine-in area on the second floor. However, there's no scheduled date on when the dine-in area will open. We're hoping that it will be soon! Currently, you can only take away their baked goods.
For the uninitiated, Mother Dough's bakery is named after a fermentation starter used in bread making. Its baker, Naadhira actually spent 4 years in New York City learning how to perfect the art of bread making.

If you haven't been to Mother Dough yet, one of their signature pastries that you've got to try is
their Almond Croissant. Baked to perfection with a delicious almond filling topped with slivered almonds and powdered sugar, you'll definitely want a bite of this yummy treat. If you're a chocolate lover, you can indulge in offerings such as their Chocolate Croissant or a Brownie slice 🤤 Some other favourites include their quiches as well as their savoury buns with fillings such as turkey ham or chicken sausage with gouda or spicy mushrooms.
