Singapore’s 60th birthday is no small milestone, and Luzerne — Singapore’s very own homegrown tableware brand with over 75 years of heritage — has found the most beautiful way to celebrate it. Introducing the SG60 Diamond Collection: a sparkling tribute that captures six decades of courage, transformation, and unity, right at the dining table.
Just like Singapore’s journey from a humble fishing village to a world-class metropolis, this collection tells a story of progress, community, and identity. Each handcrafted piece is steeped in symbolism, crafted with the artistry and care that Luzerne is known for worldwide.
A Collection That Tells Singapore’s Story
The SG60 Diamond Collection is more than just tableware — it’s a chronicle of Singapore’s defining moments. Created in collaboration with artist Professor Ng Woon Lam, the collection continues the legacy first begun at SG50.

There’s the SG60 Singapura Plate (30cm) — a bold, statement piece that works beautifully as a charger or standalone showpiece.

The SG60 Singapura 6-Plate Set (16cm) is perfect for sharing dishes at family meals, reflecting the joy of gathering around the table.

Then there’s the SG60 Kopi Set, a six-piece espresso set that pays homage to Singapore’s beloved kopi culture, where friendships are built over steaming cups of brew.

Completing the collection is the SG60 Diamond Plate (50cm) — a true centrepiece featuring a collage of six milestones from independence to today. With only 60 pieces made, it’s as rare as it is meaningful.
Art That Gives Back
What makes this collection even more special is its heart. Luzerne is donating all 60 SG60 Diamond Plates to charity, aiming to raise SGD 600,000 to support mental health causes.
Ten plates are part of a fundraising effort with Community Chest Singapore, with proceeds going to the President’s Challenge, The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, Samaritans of Singapore, and Limitless Singapore. The top 10 donors will each receive one of these iconic plates as a token of appreciation.
The remaining plates are being shared with over 20 social service agencies, allowing them to raise funds in their own communities. This continues a tradition that began in 2015, when Luzerne’s SG50 Commemorative Plate raised nearly SGD 500,000 for charity.
Heritage With a Modern Twist

Behind the artistry lies craftsmanship that few can match. Luzerne’s tableware is handcrafted by 800 skilled artisans in Dehua, China, famously known as The World Porcelain City. Every piece is lead- and cadmium-free, sustainably produced, and safe for modern dining. Luzerne also holds the distinction of being the world’s first Halal-certified ceramic factory, making its tableware inclusive for all households.
With over 28 million pieces produced annually and trusted by hotels, restaurants, and homes worldwide, Luzerne has grown from a Singaporean story into a global one — all while staying rooted in its values of heritage, design, and inclusivity.
A Collection To Treasure

The SG60 Diamond Collection isn’t just about plates and cups. It’s about gathering around the table, celebrating shared memories, and cherishing Singapore’s incredible journey. Whether it’s the Singapura Plate adorning your dining room or the Kopi Set sparking conversations over coffee, every piece carries a slice of history designed to be passed down for generations.
As Singapore marks six vibrant decades, Luzerne invites us all to bring the nation’s story to our tables. With every plate, every set, and every heartfelt detail, the SG60 Diamond Collection is a reminder of how far we’ve come — and a celebration of the unity that keeps us moving forward together.
