Le Matin Patisserie by chef-owner Mohamed Al-Matin has officially opened a cafe at ION Orchard! The 37-seat French-style cafe offers more than just its popular bakes. Diners can expect an extended menu of new pastries, desserts, and mains!

Halal status: We have reached out to confirm that no pork/lard-based products are used in their pastries. The meat selection used in their products is sourced from halal-certified sources. Some of their pastries and products may contain or have traces of alcohol which is indicated clearly on tags in-store. Their friendly staff will be available to assist and advise you accordingly. We recommend that you dine at your discretion.

The new cafe offers mouthwatering signature French delights that are split into brunch, dinner, and dessert menus. You can also find delectable soft serves. The cakes are available for dine-in and takeaway all-day which you can pair with their exclusive coffee blend Le Soleil!

Some of their signature pastries that do not contain alcohol are the Kouign Amann which is a flaky pastry layered with butter and caramelised sugar, and Wagyu & Bone Marrow Sausage Roll, which is minced Wagyu Beef rolled up in flaky puff pastry, topped with bone marrow and glazed with black garlic and garnished with a thyme stem.

If you prefer tarts, you can opt for their classic Goat’s Milk Tres Leches, which is slow caramelised goat’s milk soaked in buttermilk sponge with Goat’s milk Dulce de leche mousse, with a passionfruit and olive oil curd, or Roasted Hay & Pecan Tart that comprises of buttery pecan & almond tart base filled with a rich pecan frangipane mixed with hay butter and topped with brown butter pecans glazed with maple coffee.
