Established in 1976, Kin Men Seng Heng is a generational hawker business run by the current owner’s grandfather who came to Singapore from Taiwan looking for a better way of life. ?The business paints a very inspirational and touching story of hard work and fortitude. Now taken over by a group of young men (including the grandson), the store is a friendly and welcoming place for customers to enjoy traditional halal recipes and flavours brought by hard-working locals. ??✨
If you’re a first-time customer, you can’t go wrong with the Braised Duck Meal at an affordable SGD4 which comes with tender slices of braised duck and your choice of carbs including rice, yellow noodles or kway teow noodles. Sink your teeth into well seasoned and tender duck and make it a set with some add-ons like tau kwa (firm tofu), tau pok (dried tofu puff) and braised egg for just SGD2. ?You can choose to have the dish dry or with soup!
