You heard that right! KFC is pairing its fries with hazelnut chocolate ? We were so excited that we just had to try it for ourselves!
We love how the chocolate sauce was served hot and thick though the quantity was small. The sweetness of the chocolate was also the perfect complement to the fries which were a tad salty ?
The chocolate fries cost $4.20 (ala carte) but only $2.90 as an add-on. So the latter option is definitely more worth it especially if you're planning to eat your full meal here!
And for those who just can't get enough of chocolate, try their new chocolate hazelnut egg tarts ($1.80 each)! The flaky crust is filled with soft egg custard and a rich blend of creamy hazelnut chocolate - leaving you craving for more ?
And while we're on the topic of KFC and chocolate...I actually tried KFC Indonesia's chocolate chicken and it was so (sinfully ?) good! So if you're one of those who are dismissing this fried food and chocolate combination, give this chocolate fries a chance and trust us, you'd be pleasantly surprised ?
